Sam's is aware of the cards not being activated, so why do they continue to sell them? This is bad business. I had to report the issue to my credit card bank as fraud since Sam's was taking so long to fix the issue. I also looked like a fool passing out gift cards as gifts to folks only to hear back from these folks that the gift cards don't work.

Cards will not work. Store would not refund my money. Cannot return cards you have given away. I was sent second set and they would not work either. I wish Sam’s would address this manner and send out an email to warn people about this and tell us what to do about money lost. I spent over a 100.00.

DO NOT buy these!! I bought two sets ($60 total) and the cards came with no money on them. I spent 3 hours on the phone with sam’s club, Starbucks and even went into Starbucks and spoke with a manager. Both companies said to talk to the other. What a terrible customer service experience, and no one could track the cards and take responsibility for them not being activated. Finally, Sam’s club sent an email to their “back office” and I received an email two days later that my cards had finally been activated. I will never buy gift cards online again. I don’t trust their process and it’s hard to follow up with problems…

I purchased several gift cards online and my Starbucks cards were not activated when I received them and no one can help me get my money back or activate the unactivated cards that I paid for. Called Sam’s club membership and Starbucks for help, both companies unwilling to fix the problem.

Need to purchase any GC in the store so you can visually see it get activated by it being scanned. I have not had an issue with purchasing these in store. I do wish that you saved more money than a dollar or two buying them in bulk. Yet I do appreciate that they sell the Starbucks gift cards in $10 and $5 increments. However, years ago, with a Burger King GC I had an issue with. For some reason after purchasing in the store it had no value on it when which only means it was never activated even though I purchased it in the store and had a lot of trouble getting a credit for what I paid for it but luckily, I had proof by receipt.

I bought 5 sets of different gift cards. All are activated except this set, Starbucks. Now I have to get it back from the people I gave them to and take them to the store. Come on people, this is waste of time to have to do this. its still a good value, just Samsclub.com messed the order up by not activating ALL the cards.

Since I get hassled by sales associates at the store to purchase gift cards stating that I can't use Sam's CC, and can only use ATM or cash, decided to purchase them online. How embarrassing! None of them purchased was activated! Can't anybody do their job? These are supposed to be given as Christmas gifts next week! Already contacted Sam's Club customer service. Will see if I get a response.

I recently gave a bad review since could not get this gift card activated Was told to go through Starbucks but they wouldn’t do it. After 2 calls to Sams I asked to speak to a supervisor and she was able to activate. So in the future if you have a problem with activation ask for a supervisor. She was very pleasant and helpful

Cards did not come activated. Have spent countless hours between Starbucks and Sam's Club support and do not have a resolution

I bought $200 worth of these cards and none of them work. They have not been activated. I gave them out at work, I'm so mortified.
