Do not buy

I ordered 3 packs and all of them shipped inactive. I gave them as gifts and none worked. There is no way that Starbucks can activate them. Sam’s has so far not responded to my request for a refund and will have to dispute my charge. Do not buy and have any cards shipped.

I bought a bunch of different gift cards to give as gifts online through Sams club. I gifted several and found out that the Starbucks cards weren’t activated. Sams club referred me to Starbucks who I have spoken to on the phone and then emailed them all 6 cards info and receipt and now they want me to call them again. All other cards bought were active. Not only embarrassing but also a huge amount of time spent and so far still out $60 in gift cards.

Inconsistent gift card sales

I purchased several vendor gift cards as a birthday gift. All of the gift cards were activated upon arrival, except the cards to Starbucks. Supposedly a separate email was sent to activate these cards that was never received. Sam's Club did not communicate this during checkout or with any order confirmation emails. Customer service only refunded the cost and didn't offer to replace them.

I bought this as a gift online to my niece in another state. It was sent directly to her. She called to tell me it wasn’t activated. I went to Sam’s Club-they wouldn’t help but gave me the online number to call. I called several times to get help and was hung up on by their customer service person!!!! Horrible!!! She said she couldn’t help me then click! So now I’m out the $30 and a gift.

Sams did not activate these before sending them to me. I purchased them through the app, and sent them as gifts. A recipient told me they weren’t activated. 2+ hours dealing with Sams customer service and they still did not want to refund or fix the issue until I demanded several times for the money to be refunded.
