Bought for making holiday cookies, most to be ground up or chopped. I was surprised at the amount of half pieces.. perfect for topping and decorating cookies. Usually I have had to buy specific packages of walnut halves for decorating baked goods. These freeze well when packaged properly. (I vacuum seal and have kept them for nearly a year)

Just as good as name brand competitors. There is a fair amount of half walnuts in the bag which I enjoy using for Holiday baking. I save the halves to place on top of desserts for decor and to let family and friends know it has nuts. The price is good for the quality.

These are very good walnuts. They are "English" or white walnuts, as opposed to Black Walnuts, and have an excellent mild taste. (The Hammons American Black Walnuts from Sam's Club are good, too.) It's good to have nuts in quantities large enough to be able to use them freely for recipes and for snacks. .

I love to eat nuts and grapes but I was very disappointed when I opened the bag of walnuts. They were terrible. Dried out , no flavor and outdated. I shop at Sam’s most of the time online because I haven’t driven since I had a bad fall. Someone will have to take them back for me. I am a little disgusted

After being displeased with the previous bag of these walnuts I decided to give them one more try. They have been a staple in our kitchen for years as snacks, in salads and in baked goods. Gratefully, the quality of latest bag is very good and we will continue to take advantage of this appreciated value. Thank you Sam’s Club!

These are the absolute best walnuts at the absolute best price. I will be extremely disappointed if Sam’s stops carrying these. Walnuts can be used as meat and my family eats a lot of them. We have walnut tacos for example. You use walnuts, water, and taco seasoning. You wouldn’t know it’s not ground beef.

Sam's Club has been my go to place for several years to buy shelled walnuts . Love to use them in so many dishes and for the most part, they have tasted fresh. The one time they didn't, I just took them to the store and returned them without any problems.

First used these nuts about a year ago. This is a big bag of nuts. Price is excellent. They do need to be ate fairly quickly or they will become rancid, but can be frozen to save them. Walnuts are very healthy. I have used these as snacks, on salads, muffins and breakfast dishes.

So disappointed. Two stars for the price and quantity. No good, taste and texture were off, as well as a bad aftertaste. Honestly though, this is the first time I've purchased these and not been pleased. I'll definitely continue to purchase these, I feel like this had to be a one off, bad batch.

The walnuts were rancid. The last two bags i bought were rancid.
