I always buy these walnuts because of the price and the freshness. I do a lot of baking so can go thru the package very quickly. I usually chopped them, but now that i don't bake as much I now eat them right out of the bag. Tasty and from what I hear, they are good for the heart as well so I get good health and a healthy snack. What else can you ask for.

I purchased these, and had them shipped to my 91 year old sister in Arkansas. I saw them earlier in my Sam's Club, looked them over carefully, and purchased a bag for myself because they looked like "new crop" walnuts. They have a "fresh" taste and smell. I have consumed over a pound of the walnuts from the bag that I purchased for myself, and there has been only a couple of reject kernels that I have encountered; I knew that my sister would enjoy the overall quality of the product.

I use walnuts a lot in baking and especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Walnuts also are the highest nutrition value of 'nuts' so - I choose walnuts quite often replacing pecans or replacing half pecans with walnuts. These are a great value, high quality - and very worthwhile. Thanks Sam's Club for carrying these great walnuts.

Fresh and very high-quality English Walnuts. We bake a lot of items that use walnuts at the preferred nut addition. We ran short on walnuts recently and went to the local markets to pick up some for our baking needs. Talk about sticker shock! At the prices wanted for 3oz-5oz sized packages you would think they were made of silver or gold! Member's Mark Walnuts were so reasonable, we bought 2 bags and put them in the freezer (the only way for long-term storage). I highly recommend these walnuts!

we also purchased this product last year it was great, this year it was terrible. the nuts are good size but they smell bad, like old oil, we could not eat. So bummed was looking forward to cooking with them. But we can not. They may have gotten stuck in truck or maybe hot when put in bag that caused the terrible smell and taste.

Love these walnuts. I bought them about a month ago and they are half gone already. I use them in brownies and banana bread as well as eat them out of the bag for a healthy snack. The price is also very reasonable considering you are getting 3 lbs! I'll probably buy another bag at Christmas, for sure, to deal with all the baking I plan to do.

Just as good as name brand competitors. There is a fair amount of half walnuts in the bag which I enjoy using for Holiday baking. I save the halves to place on top of desserts for decor and to let family and friends know it has nuts. The price is good for the quality.

I have been buying these Members Mark walnuts for monthly for almost a year. They were fresh and tasty. This month I got my first bag of mixed stale walnuts. I will be returning them for a refund. I will continue to buy these walnuts. I know in the long supply chain a few old walnuts must have been introduced.

Having used nothing but Diamond Walnuts for years, I was reluctant to order Member's Mark Walnuts. However, the fact that I could get a three-pound bag (I use LOTS of walnuts) for such a reasonable price convinced me to try them. They are delicious and I would not hesitate to buy them again and again.

These are very good walnuts. They are "English" or white walnuts, as opposed to Black Walnuts, and have an excellent mild taste. (The Hammons American Black Walnuts from Sam's Club are good, too.) It's good to have nuts in quantities large enough to be able to use them freely for recipes and for snacks. .
