Great cling wrap, but HORRIBLE packaging.

Okay: You need time, technique, and patience to get the good out of this Member's Mark Foodservice Film! The issue is that the film is so clingy, and the roll is so heavy that it's very hard to unravel. It sticks and tears, and you'll need to get inside of the box and unstick what's stuck, or you'll waste a lot of the wrap. The film cutting board is also unpleasant, and you need to be patient and careful each time so you don't cut yourself on it. If you are patient enough to use 2 hands and pull upward while using your pinkies to tease this film off of the roll as you pull upward, it won't tear/split. I promise. The PROBLEM is that in the food service industry, nobody has time to babysit their plastic wrap, so this roll is very frustrating! At home, however, it just takes some patience and practice, and you'll get great, practical use from this roll of quality clingy wrap for many months. It's hearty. It has enough cling with flexibility to really hug, seal, and protect whatever you're wrapping. A good double wrap with this film even hides the smell of cut onions in my refrigerator. My last roll lasted for nearly 12 months. (11 months and 3 weeks.)

Great value, but confusing and hard to store box

Wow I will never have to buy cling wrap again! This is a lot of cling wrap. I am a huge fan of press n seal because it clings to plates and food better, but this cling wrap is pretty clingy compared to others I used. I will say, I had a lot of difficulties trying to figure out how to feed the film through the box in order to cut. I still don't think I have it correct and I messed with it for awhile. There should be more directions on the box. The box is better for businesses or restaurants. I'm going to struggle finding a place to store this. But it definitely is good value for money! I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Flexible and Durable Product

This was my first time using Members Mark Foodservice Film to secure food items in a large silver bowl and it sealed and kept them fresh while being stored in the refrigerator. I would definitely purchase again because the plastic dispensed smoothly and didn't tear since the quality was of such a high standard. This product was not only flexible but very durable so I would recommend to others. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Sturdy wrap!

I like that this product has a lot of film roll for not a terribly expensive price. The film is very sturdy and clings well. The one thing I did not like is that the box is kind of hard to use. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Quality went down big time

Recently, film keeps getting stuck on the side, creating a mess when wrapping something. In the long run, it makes it really difficult to use it. We have had the same issue with several rolls, also in the larger size. After years of using these, we finally decided to switch product.

Daily chef food service film 12inx3000

Why does the company not read the comments, and consider what the consumers are complaining of. We had bought one box and after destroying the box and not being able to understand the directions which is very poor. Only 3 assembly instructions (read carefully) What does that mean?? After not being able to understand the directions the food service film, just sat on the kitchen counter and we purchased another plastic wrap to complete wrapping food. I hope the people that can make changes to this product will read this message and understand that the directions are very difficult to follow. It is bad when you need to go to the Intenet to watch a consumer make a video on how to make the box user freindly. maybe the company would put out a video on the Internet to show how to open and use their product with good results. If not consumers will change to another product. If you like your product you should listen to to the people that are trying to give you better ideals to sell your product

Bring back the Cutter!

The film itself works better than any other brand I've ever tried. It sticks to just about everything. The issue is getting it off the roll. The old style has a "safety" slide cutter that worked great. This one has the metal "teeth" that you have to pull the wrap down / across to cut - like the brands at the retail stores. It's not nearly as convenient or as safe since the teeth sit above the edge of the box.

Works great!

This food service film works great. It easily comes out of the box and goes on nice and tightly. It actually stays tight also instead of trying to keep flipping up. It is great for home use and also works great for my husband's business. I definitely recommend it. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Great Value but how to dispense??

There is a lot of film here that will certainly last a long time. I would give it a 5 star for the plastic and value but 1 star for the box so, that averages to the 3 star rating I'm giving. I was about ready to toss the whole box in the trash until I thought to come to the reviews to see if anyone else was having the same question and problem as me - which is how do you dispense the plastic? Luckily, I found one of the reviewers gave instructions on how to set it up. I don't understand why instructions are not printed somewhere on the box for us "non-restaurant people".

only half the roll is useful

The first half of every box we have ever bought had worked just fine, but about halfway through the plastic on one end of the roller sticks and tears. (Usually the left side) it seem a waste but still worth the price to me. I just chunk it and get a new roll.
