The film itself works better than any other brand I've ever tried. It sticks to just about everything. The issue is getting it off the roll. The old style has a "safety" slide cutter that worked great. This one has the metal "teeth" that you have to pull the wrap down / across to cut - like the brands at the retail stores. It's not nearly as convenient or as safe since the teeth sit above the edge of the box.

Wow I will never have to buy cling wrap again! This is a lot of cling wrap. I am a huge fan of press n seal because it clings to plates and food better, but this cling wrap is pretty clingy compared to others I used. I will say, I had a lot of difficulties trying to figure out how to feed the film through the box in order to cut. I still don't think I have it correct and I messed with it for awhile. There should be more directions on the box. The box is better for businesses or restaurants. I'm going to struggle finding a place to store this. But it definitely is good value for money! The food service film box has a built-in tear cutter rather than the sliding cutter that is so convenient these days. Prior to any use, the blade on the box I purchased is coming off of the cardboard holder it's supposed to be clamped to on one end. Because of this, the blade twists when trying to tear the wrap so I have to hold the blade while tearing. Hopefully I just picked a bad box. The wrap itself is good quality. This is a massive roll of film for household use. I don't think we will need to buy another for several years. I used this to cover up a bowl with leftovers and it sealed securely and easily over the bowl. The dispenser is a little awkward and the box tore when I was opening it so I ended up taking off the entire top of the box in order to have easier access to the roll of wrap. I wish the box had come with clearer instructions on setting it up initially. This wrap isn't any sturdier than your average roll but does a good job of sealing over containers. I purchased the 12" x 3000ft Members Mark food service roll. It took about a minute to get it open and find the end piece to pull through the top opening to get it started. Once that was done I was able to pull some wrap through the top opening and tear it off easily. I pulled at it a decent amount to see how strong it was and it appears to be just as good if not better than other brand name items. With this being a 3000ft roll I believe this will last a long time and the value is very good. I use this type of wrap at home in the kitchen a lot and also to wrap items to take to a consignment sale. I will definitely purchase it again. The first half of every box we have ever bought had worked just fine, but about halfway through the plastic on one end of the roller sticks and tears. (Usually the left side) it seem a waste but still worth the price to me. I just chunk it and get a new roll.
