Okay: You need time, technique, and patience to get the good out of this Member's Mark Foodservice Film! The issue is that the film is so clingy, and the roll is so heavy that it's very hard to unravel. It sticks and tears, and you'll need to get inside of the box and unstick what's stuck, or you'll waste a lot of the wrap. The film cutting board is also unpleasant, and you need to be patient and careful each time so you don't cut yourself on it. If you are patient enough to use 2 hands and pull upward while using your pinkies to tease this film off of the roll as you pull upward, it won't tear/split. I promise. The PROBLEM is that in the food service industry, nobody has time to babysit their plastic wrap, so this roll is very frustrating! At home, however, it just takes some patience and practice, and you'll get great, practical use from this roll of quality clingy wrap for many months. It's hearty. It has enough cling with flexibility to really hug, seal, and protect whatever you're wrapping. A good double wrap with this film even hides the smell of cut onions in my refrigerator. My last roll lasted for nearly 12 months. (11 months and 3 weeks.)

I purchased the 12" x 3000ft Members Mark food service roll. It took about a minute to get it open and find the end piece to pull through the top opening to get it started. Once that was done I was able to pull some wrap through the top opening and tear it off easily. I pulled at it a decent amount to see how strong it was and it appears to be just as good if not better than other brand name items. With this being a 3000ft roll I believe this will last a long time and the value is very good. I use this type of wrap at home in the kitchen a lot and also to wrap items to take to a consignment sale. I will definitely purchase it again. This is a massive roll of film for household use. I don't think we will need to buy another for several years. I used this to cover up a bowl with leftovers and it sealed securely and easily over the bowl. The dispenser is a little awkward and the box tore when I was opening it so I ended up taking off the entire top of the box in order to have easier access to the roll of wrap. I wish the box had come with clearer instructions on setting it up initially. This wrap isn't any sturdier than your average roll but does a good job of sealing over containers.
