When not using tallow, this is the go to. Deep fry, shallow fry or saute, great smoke point and neutral flavor. If you want flavor Sam’s sells avocado and olive oils, you want a great fry oil this is a winner. If like me you crave a great crispy chicken sandwich, nuggets or strips, this oil is solid for the job and won’t break the bank. You don’t need a deep fryer. If you have a deep pot, cast iron or even shallow fry pan you can make flavor packed (not sitting under a lamp) amazing dish. I get the chicken tenders or breasts from Sam’s frozen section, thaw them, marinade them in limoncello or stock or a season mix I like then flour, egg wash, second flour and deep or pan fry. I control the flavor and salt and this oil crisps without filling the house with smoke and leaving a gross oily flavor. Oh and schnitzel, forget about it. Get some eggs and bread crumb with a nice bratwurst seasoning, shallow fry… get the sauerkraut and beer, throw w on the polka (don’t do that) hello German night. Also for homemade egg/spring roles this oil does not make them soggy and gross. Nice crisp, no lasting oil taste.

This 2pk is about the same as purchasing 4 regular size bottles at my local grocery chain. I was leary in purchasing because i thought it would be hard to pour, but it really was not. I will continue to purchase as to we usually have a fish fry once a month and with this value i dont have to reuse the cooking oil over and over again.

I cook a lot, including frying foods, and this is one of the best values for a neutral oil that can stand up to multiple purposes. Only downside, the bottles are extremely thin and a firm squeeze to hold them will make them cave in, which can mean dropped while open. Done it, so be aware.

Purchase for the cost per ounces was the best value at Sam’s. I prefer Canola over vegetable oil cakes come out so moist and flavorful for the recipes that call for just oil or what I like to do oil and butter.

Very good price for canola oil, which is rarely found in my local market. With all the talk about avoiding seed oils, canola oil is recommended for less polyunsaturated fat and higher burn temp than veg oil.

We try not to cook with too much seed oil, but sometimes it’s necessary. Having this quantity on hand, ensures I don’t have to run to the grocery store for it.

This is a really good value for the price, but this oil is not neutral tasting at all. I have been buying this for years, and it has a strong bitter and somewhat rancid after taste. It does work well frying and cooking, salads and more, but when you need a neutral tasting oil for some recipe, this oil will stick out and you will taste it.
