Last couple of packages we purchased had quite a bit of liquid in the bottom of bag, and strips were pretty wet and sticky. Previously purchased bags were not like this. Not sure if we will re-purchase. Flavor was good, but strips were thick and some very tough and hard to chew, and the moist coating made them quite messy.

I disliked every jerky I have ever tried. Too salty, too tough, too weird taste, or metallic tasting. These are none of those. Tastes a little like bacon, just a touch of honey barbecue sweetness, not too salty (similar to luncheon meat), soft enough to bite through without feeling like you’re attacking a doggie toy, just an excellent jerky for those people who hate them. These are great for emergency or camping use, easy to toss into starchy or vegetable dishes to make it more filling of a meal, and the ones I just purchased have a best by date that is 15 months out. These are a new staple for me.

Love this jerky!! I've gotten the Slim Jim's and the other expensive bags of jerky from Sam's and I'm picky when it comes to jerky. I don't like to chew chew chew and possibly chew some more. I want a good flavor and hardly any, or no gristle! This jerky is great. My whole family is enjoying it, and I'm having to buy a couple more bags. I hope Sam's keeps this around!!!

The jerkey is good, and we like the taste of it for the $10 price. I would prefer it to be a little thinner piece so it wouldn't be so chewy. My son likes to take jerkey to school for his snack, and this bag will last a week. I also like to get it when we are going to Lake as a boat snack.

To be clear, this is NOT jerky. These are much better! not "tough" like jerky can be and very satisfying when you have a meat craving and not close to a grill. Kind of wish they were totally sugar free, but amount is low so be mindful if following a keto diet.

This is a more interesting jerky than Jack Link's. It's a bit tougher to chew, yet it has a nice pepper flavor and actually has so much sauce on it that if you have a dry piece, there's extra sauce at the bottom of the bag you could potentially dip it in.

Really like these but will be last time we purchase because they have been open for over a week and after eating some just now saw that they must be refrigerated. So now sitting here wondering if I am gonna get sick. Never realized a jerky needed refrigeration. That's why we buy it cause you thought it was safe to keep in your purse or in a desk at work. Will have to find one that doesn't need to be keep cold.

I've always been disappointed by the brand name beef jerky out there like "Jacks links" and such. They're usually soft, thin, and they have very little chew to them and they're expensive. These are amazing! They're thick and have a good chew to them. The flavor is simple and smoky. It's everything I want in store-bought jerky and to top it all off, it's easily half the price of the competitors. It's nearly a whole pound of meat. I've told all my friends and family about it.

6 grams of added sugar per ounce! (hello prediabetes.) Beef does not need to be sweet. Please stop adding unnecessary sugar to food. Also, the texture is a bit too chewy for my preference. Perhaps this is why the product is called 'steak strips' instead of jerky.

I've been wanting to try these and I finally did. I was not disappointed. I'm going to say these are chuck roast chunks. They're too big to chew a whole piece but it's easy to find the grain and peel off a section with your teeth that's chewable. These will be great for a snack to take away hunger but you're not ready to eat a big meal.
