Not very good. We like our coffee to be rich, robust and flavorful. These beans have little flavor, weak tasting and somewhat bitter. We bought two bags because they ran out of our favorite brand recently. We are going to return the unopened bag. We ordered our favorite coffee beans from Sam's online. Should be here Monday morning, can't wait. If all goes well, we'll order more on the internet. No shipping costs for Plus members.

Read the bad reviews after I bought the product, so I opened the bag with a clear mind. Aroma was excellent, bean color was dark, and oily residue on my hands from a small sample. The next day brew through my Mr. Coffee with cinnamon and brown sugar was very good. Better than spending ridiculous money on starbucks. When I hear people complain about product inconsistencies, all I can think is: 'Get off your a## and take it back.'

My first and last purchase of the coffee. I tried this as a coarse grind in both my drip coffee maker and my cold brew system. I did not like the hot drip coffee -- it was harsh with no "french roast" flavor for me. The cold brew was better, but still a bit harsh and acidic. Just for reference, my favorite french roast is the low acid whole bean from Trader Joe's. My 2nd favorite coffee is Don Pablo Subtle Earth Organic Dark Roast (low acid). This Members Mark coffee may be at an excellent price point, but it just is too harsh and acidic with no delightful undertones that I'm used to.

My husband is very particular about coffee and has a special process he uses to brew it. He is very happy with these beans and I’m happy that they come in such a large bag for a great price. We used to buy Wegman’s espresso roast, but this is just as good and more economical.

We love this coffee shop much, awesome flavor. They use to sell it on the club but not anymore, it's only available online. Don't know why they stop selling this amazing coffee in the club. You think when an item sells so well they would have it available in the store as well. Great price and the taste is amazing.

I tried medium and fine grind with a small Krupps burr grinder. I felt the fine grind really brought out the flavor even though the bag notes medium. I store the coffee in a air tight container and grind before use in the morning. I use a ten cup coffee maker and found eight coffee scoops taste nice and nine scoops when I want a more bold flavor. I think this coffee excellent.

This is the best coffee I have ever had. I have been a heavy coffee drinker for years and years. If you like real French roast this is the coffee to buy. Most of the other expensive brand names Are a Bitter. I hope they never stop selling this coffee

I am a review nerd. I read ALL the reviews. I think this vender has a quality control roasting problem. I get this all the time and love it. Every once and awhile I get a light not oily batch. I find if you super grind this you get a decent espresso tast. Grate tast for the price. I will say this though. Starbucks is the king. Even if they are a left wing communist company. Great coffee though. BUT this brand is cost ofective
