I enjoy Starbucks' French Roast better than this one, but i still like this coffee quite a bit! I definitely recommend this. If the Starbucks French Roast has a discount, I get the Starbucks, but any other time I get this Member's Mark and I still love my cup of coffee that I make from it. It's more than worth the try.

Members Mark coffee is the preferred brand at our house. We have been drinking Sams Club French Roast for a couple of decades and enjoying it every day. The cost savings made it possible to buy a very high quality grind and brew system makes the whole bean coffee experience very special. It's all good!!

I like to grind my own beans as I need the coffee. I use the coffee at 1 grind for my espressos. Hubby uses a different grind for his percolator coffee. These beans work quite well at either grind. Coffee has a nice full bodied flavor with no bitter after taste.

I'm a picky coffee drinker. My favorites are Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain. Since I'm retired, I've had to adjust my budget for everything, including coffees. The Members Mark French Roast is the best, much less expensive coffee I've found and have been buying it for years now. Most less expensive coffees, I have to blend with other beans to make them suit my palate, but the Member's Mark is very good just the way it is.

Good, dark roast flavor. Works well in my super automatic coffee maker. I orginally tried the Starbucks Espresso whole bean from Sam's but it had too many broken beans and loose debris that kept jamming my machine. This Members Mark whole bean has none of that.

I brew my coffee via a drip coffee machine most of the time. I occasionally do a pour-over if I only need one cup. I grind it very fine, almost to the point of an espresso grind. I prefer a dark roast with a robust taste, and this definitely fits the bill. It is not overly bitter and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It is not the best-tasting coffee that I have ever tried, but it is very close. For the price, however, it can't be beat. Those better-tasting coffees are outrageously expensive, and certainly not worth the extra money. As other reviewers have noted, the package is extremely poor, and if you order online, you may have to scoop your beans up out of the box. I have to order mine because my local club does not keep it in stock. The flimsy package is my only complaint. Better packaging is needed for maintaining freshness as well as secure shipping.

Exceptional taste at a great price! I love this French Roast coffee. It arrives fresh and ready to grind. I use a small grinder/blender that makes about two days worth at a time. It has a bold but smooth flavor that is sure to make it your go to coffee!

I've always enjoyed strong coffee and used to buy Starbucks French roast until it became too expensive. While searching for a coffee that suits my taste I tried Members Mark French roast and discovered it is better than Starbucks and more affordable. It fits nicely in my budget so I'm a MM coffee drinker forever.

Got introduced to this coffee by my dad in Florida on a visit. Consistently good. Switched from Bustello and joined Sam's Club in Texas when I got back home so I could always have some. Recommend trying if you like strong dark French roast . Folger's 1850 "Black Gold" is good as well. Trusted advice from a self proclaimed coffee aficionado.

If you enjoy a nice bold cup of coffee that’s not very acidic you’re gonna enjoy these Member’s Mark French Roast Beans! We use 3-4 level scoops of beans for 12 cups. The scoop is a 1/8 cup measuring cup. We’ve tried a few other beans for a change but we always come back to these. ENJOY!!!
