I've used this brand and type of coffee for years. I have been completely satisfied with the taste and received compliments from those I've served it to. However, I recently stayed with my son and daughter in law who commented they didn't like the aroma! I was surprised and tried other brands to appease their sense of smell and I havent found a cup of coffee that tastes as good yet!

I'm a picky coffee drinker. My favorites are Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain. Since I'm retired, I've had to adjust my budget for everything, including coffees. The Members Mark French Roast is the best, much less expensive coffee I've found and have been buying it for years now. Most less expensive coffees, I have to blend with other beans to make them suit my palate, but the Member's Mark is very good just the way it is.

We've lived this Rick wonderful coffee for at least 5 years now. The coffee grinders at Sam's Club usually aren't meant for this brand or aren't working which has been annoying. So we bought a Cusinart Grind and Brew coffee maker which had made this coffee even better. Luckily we're retired to linger and enjoy the best coffee every morning we've ever had!

I brew my coffee via a drip coffee machine most of the time. I occasionally do a pour-over if I only need one cup. I grind it very fine, almost to the point of an espresso grind. I prefer a dark roast with a robust taste, and this definitely fits the bill. It is not overly bitter and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It is not the best-tasting coffee that I have ever tried, but it is very close. For the price, however, it can't be beat. Those better-tasting coffees are outrageously expensive, and certainly not worth the extra money. As other reviewers have noted, the package is extremely poor, and if you order online, you may have to scoop your beans up out of the box. I have to order mine because my local club does not keep it in stock. The flimsy package is my only complaint. Better packaging is needed for maintaining freshness as well as secure shipping.

I loved the taste and still do. This time I noticed that the oily beans are no longer! It is wonderful! They have eliminated the oil, but kept the deep, rich taste. I never could understand why the oil was there in the first place. My Cuisinart and grinder thank you! Cleanup is much easier. Excellent coffee!

Great Coffee. It is very strong but that is the way I like my coffee. We buy the beans and grind them right before brewing the coffee. The only problem that I have is that it is usually not available in the Club and I have to remember to order it so that we do not run out.

We like our coffee strong, so we almost always buy french roast. We usually buy a major retailer's brand, but the Sam's Club price was low enough it was worth a shot. But it was a relatively light roast with less flavor and oils than the Seattle-based coffee. We tried it once (single cup pour-through filters) and donated it to a local non-profit that could use it. It would probably be fine for people that aren't picky about their coffee.

This has a GREAT flavor to it. Nice bold and smoky flavor. I’ve gone through many different brands of coffee over the years and this one is the best so far. The other brands just didn’t seem to have that coffee taste to them. INcluding StarBucks. Plus, Good price.

Members Mark coffee is the preferred brand at our house. We have been drinking Sams Club French Roast for a couple of decades and enjoying it every day. The cost savings made it possible to buy a very high quality grind and brew system makes the whole bean coffee experience very special. It's all good!!

I have been buying this coffee for a long time. It is my go-to because over the years I have tried brand after brand and regardless of price or brand name reputation, this one tastes best to me. I will say, years ago it tasted even better, but I guess the source of those beans must have been depleted or no longer available for some reason. Regardless, these are still the best no matter the price in my opinion.
