For some reason, the sams stores quit selling this, but if you liked a really dark, strong and great coffee, buy this. We use a bur grinder and grind as fine as possible, then use water from the Zero water container and the coffee that this produces will beat any Starbucks and European Blends we have had.

French Roast coffee for those desiring full, rich pleasing dark roast without those bitter notes. I drink lots of coffee everyday using an all-in-one coffee grinder/brewer. So far, Member's Mark whole bean coffee has been a stand-out value. Very consistent quality. I highly recommend!

I bought two bags; your Traverse City store had an empty shelf for several weeks. Customer service was unable to tell me when it would be back in stock. It is my preferred bean coffee for several reasons. 1. High quality bean with consistent roast from lot to lot. 2. Almost all of the beans are whole, very few are broken or crushed. Some brands, specifically Starbucks in your store, often has so many crushed and broken beans that the lot looks like floor sweepings. Because the particle sizes vary from powder to half beans it is not practical to sift the product. 3. Your Members Mark French Roast has a little or no oil sprayed on the beans … this enables a uniform and consistent grind! Many other brands on your shelves, Starbucks in particular, have so much oil I have had to store the beans in mason jars with paper towels to absorb the oil. Otherwise, beans cake up in the burr grinder and I have to break the clog with a chopstick. I realize that Sam’s buyers have to pay attention to costs; but reducing costs by replacing a gram of expensive beans with a gram of cheap oil … is STUPID, So if some mindless buyer try's to reduce the cost of what in that purple bag … stop him or her; the only meaningful result would be a reduction in quality. When I was a young boy one of the highest quality tool companies was Black and Decker; today, as a result of cost reductions, that brand of tools is in the Free Box at Yard Sales.

We've lived this Rick wonderful coffee for at least 5 years now. The coffee grinders at Sam's Club usually aren't meant for this brand or aren't working which has been annoying. So we bought a Cusinart Grind and Brew coffee maker which had made this coffee even better. Luckily we're retired to linger and enjoy the best coffee every morning we've ever had!

Exceptional taste at a great price! I love this French Roast coffee. It arrives fresh and ready to grind. I use a small grinder/blender that makes about two days worth at a time. It has a bold but smooth flavor that is sure to make it your go to coffee!

I have purchased these beans for years and generally pleased with the flavor and freshness of them. I was in a pinch and decided to order these online. Package arrive without a tight sealed. The beans inside were all dried out. Disappointed with how these arrived at my home.

This has a GREAT flavor to it. Nice bold and smoky flavor. I’ve gone through many different brands of coffee over the years and this one is the best so far. The other brands just didn’t seem to have that coffee taste to them. INcluding StarBucks. Plus, Good price.

I grind this fresh every day and use in my regular Cuisinart coffee pot, and it makes a delicious, robust morning coffee. It has the intense flavor of a true french roast. I also sometimes grind it a little more coarse and use it in a french press, also with good results. I've bought several bags of this over time and plan to continue to buy it.

This is the best coffee ever! We have been drinking this for years and was disheartened when it was no longer available in club. Thank goodness we can still get it online with free shipping! I don’t know what we’d do without it. We grind fresh beans and make it in a French press. We take our coffee with us on vacation because we’ve gotten so spoiled on this. I hope that it remains available to us.

Great flavored French Roast- compares well to Star Bucks FR. I use this for making cold brew coffee and it's my Favorite beverage of the day. 3 cups ground coffee, 6 cups cold filtered water ( I use mineral drops in the water ) place in tall Liter size mason jar covered and let sit 48 hrs. Strain with strainer and then filter the brew thru coffee filters and store in 2 pt size mason jars in fridge. To drink- use 1 cup coffee and 1 cup cold filtered water over ice and add you favorite cream and flavors.
