I love these coffee beans. The roast is very consistent and the beans are fresh every time I order them. It makes for wonderful coffee from my Jura Automatic Coffee machine.

With so many good coffees available, it's nice to know the best isn't the most expensive! Using a home Grindr and French press I am treated to an exquisite cup of coffee every time.

Great dark roast whole bean coffee. Low in acid, high in flavor. I’m not a Keurig fan so I don’t care that’s it’s available in k-cups. Please restock the whole bean!

Great taste

This tastes almost the same as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf French Roast, except it has a fruity sweet note at the end. Now - have you ever had a coffee get cold, you take a taste and have to spit it out because it tastes sour, or bitter after it sits? Not this - it tastes great hot, or cold - so it can be consumed either way. I love it, and at an unbelievable price.

This is the best whole bean dark roast coffee you will be able to find at a great price. I have ordered over a dozen of these bags and the quality is always consistent. They don't have this coffee at my local Sam's but as a Plus member you can order it online and it comes 2 days later via Fed Ex with free shipping.

For everyday drinking coffee this stuff is just fine. It's a little more bold tasting than your average medium roast, but not a whole lot. So if you like that then you'll like this. No off-flavors, just good coffee. There are better coffees out there if you don't mind paying more for them. But for everyday drinking, this is good and the price is reasonable. Haven't had any complaints from family and friends. Apparently Sam's isn't stocking it in stores? That's a shame because you'll have to pay shipping. Even plus members are forced to pay shipping now. I get the majority of my goods through shipping so we always meet the minimum for free shipping but it's really a shame on Sam's club for forcing people to pay for shipping now. Very sad...

The first and last time I buy this coffee. I'm a Sam's Club member as well as that other big warehouse club, and have been buying the French Roast coffee from the other club for years. Since the price is right on the Member's Mark, I was hoping it would be somewhere in the ballpark of what I've been buying from the other place. Unfortunately, it isn't. The Member's Mark has a somewhat sour, "off" taste, and while I wouldn't exactly call it rancid, the flavor did seem to indicate the beans hadn't traveled well from their origin, and I couldn't even finish the first cup that I made. Very disappointed.

This is by far one of the best tasting, affordable French roast coffees I have ever tried. The beans are quality and flavorful— a beautiful depth of dark roasted flavor . However, I noticed this is no longer offered in store. Please bring this back to the store so I don’t have to pay extra for shipping! store

We have used nothing but Members Mark dark roast beans for over 15 years. No bitter after taste is the star attraction. And we have tried many others as we travel in our RV and no Sam's around. Now, can't find at Sam's so we order on line. At least we can get it. We use a coffee pot with built in grinder and with this coffee, we are spoiled. Even best restaurant or chain coffee can't match it. This is robust without that hidicious bitterness that true coffee connasoirs can't tolerate.
