We like our coffee hearty and strong! This definitely does and we have returned to it often. We wake up to a standout! We have used whole beans of many years and it does make a difference

These french roast coffee beans from Sam's are full of rich flavor, not bitter, super fresh and offered at a great price point. It brews well (when ground) in a drip, french press or our favorite - an old time percolator. Great choice!

The beans actually have oil on them! Not stale like many beans. Wouldn't call it an exceptional roast with depth or the freshest, but absolutely fine for every-day coffee.

Blend these beans with Eight O'Clock Hazelnut beans for a fantastic cup of coffee. The Sam's Club Member Mark french roast beans are a very good value and high quality.

Price is good, but it isn't the full-bodied, rich, dark French Roast like San Francisco Bay (the best) -- sold by Costco or Seattle's Best coffee. It's the best I can afford at Sam's for whole bean French Roast.

This is the best whole bean coffee I've ever had. Rich, bold flavor that tastes better than it smells. Nothing like waking up to the delicious coffee!!

Very rich and flavorful. Rotate this coffee with a few others and always look forward to it rotating back into use. Always keep a spare in the pantry as it is something I look forward to enjoying each day.

I was hoping this would replace Major Dickasons that we now have to order because the store doesn’t carry it. This was cheaper, and not nearly up to par. Will stick with Peet’s brand

This French roast is our preferred bean and it works extremely well in our coffee maker. Other brands tend to be too oily and hang up in the grinding mechanism. Ordering on-line in currently the only way we can get the whole bean we prefer😄
