bought some several years ago at SHreveport Sam's and they were terrible and stale. Thought I would try again and this time 2018 they were fresh and I toasted them with a little butter. Not as plump as local Texas pecans but for the price jand what I use for excelletn.Did put in freezer until used(IT WAS A MONTH BEFORE i GOT AROUND TO USING THEM]

Have been disappointed in the quality of these pecans for the last couple of years. I end up throwing quite a few away that are either too mushy or too hard. But you can't beat the price and I haven't found pecans of any better quality that weren't too expensive.

Member's Mark pecans are a good price, but I have been disappointed with the quality. I have found several pecans that are unusable. The are dark and taste bad so it appears they not as fresh as the date implies. Therefore not as good a buy as I would expect from Sam's Club

Neither item was impacted by rough handling during shipment. Since we live so far from a club store, we appreciate the ability to order items between trips into San Antonio. This positive review does NOT apply to the Thai coconut milk I recently ordered. Essentially every stinking can was DENTED in shipment which will make opening the cans if milk difficult at best!!!

Nice, intact pecan halves with very few tiny pieces. They taste very good, although they were a little (shall we say) less than crisp when they arrived, but I put them in the freezer (as I always do with any kind of nut), after which they were just fine. They're definitely a good value, too.

Pecans are a staple in my house. Being able to buy them in bulk at a reasonable price, is a bonus. Baking, salads or just snacking, so many ways to use them. And I give pecans as gifts to my baking and candy making friends , it helps them donate to bake and candy sales as fund raisers for a schools, volunteer fire departments, etc.

These pecan halves are always fresh and the most affordable. I keep pecans in my refrigerator or freezer so they’re at their freshest whenever I need them. I’ve even mailed them to friends in overseas locations who are serving in the military where pecans are not available. They are always greatly appreciated.

Very dry ( old ), soft as though they had been frozen, it's the first time I've ever had bad bags I usually buy at least two at a time, they've always been good. Just a baf batch. I will still buy them when fresher, because I've bought them for years.

I ordered the pecans in lieu of candy, so glad I did, they’re a great tasting snacking alternative at a good price. I opted for delivery which was slower under COVID-19 circumstances; however, I have a chronic autoimmune disorder and going anywhere is not an option for me or my household. I am thankful and appreciative of all those who packaged and delivered my order (FYI, there was more to the order than just pecans).

I grew up picking and shelling pecans, which is so time consuming! We still have pecans that cover the ground every fall and winter. However, my delicious pecan pies come out of this bag instead of my TV room. Maybe I got lazy, but now I never have to worry about a shell sneaking into my recipes. These pecans stay fresh all year long, stored in the refrigerator. The squirrels outside are very happy with my choice, too!
