These pecan halves are very versatile to eat right out of the bag as a snack, or to add to a wide variety of recipes for anything from main dishes to side dishes to desserts. Unit pricing per ounce is much more competitive for these pecan halves in these 2 pound bags versus what is sold in smaller quantities in most other grocery chains. These nuts can be toasted or used 'as is'. A single serving of nuts can be a nice, healthier choice than many other snack foods available. I highly recommend them!

After thorough research these were the best price per pound I could find. Took the chance and they are delicious. We use pecan on a daily basis. On waffles, pancakes, in chicken salad, on yogurt and just by themselves as a snack. I searched online to find a larger size than we had been getting at our local mart. These were twice as much for the same price. I ordered one package and order 2 this time. They are large and so fresh. The bag is close able and have stayed fresh.

In my opinion, Sam's Club could source some much better pecans before putting the Member's Mark name on them. I have been very happy with all other Member's Mark products that I have tried. I plan to chop these in my food processor and make cookies. They are fresh enough. They are just very dry and probably not a good variety.

I purchased these nuts to bake pecan pies. I was very disappointed because many of them are dark and dry. They are ok if they are going to be used in baked goods . However, if you need nuts for garnishing cakes or other deserts, these are not the ones to purchase.

They were a bit stale, this is very unusual, as I have purchased them many times so I made cinnamon sugar pecans out of the and my husband ate them any way, he said being cooked in the oven took the stale taste out...lol men will eat almost anything.

I add a hand full of pecan halves ( from the freezer - I like the crunchier texture ) to a bowl of Raisin Bran with a half banana. Healthier Banana Nut Muffin? Why 4 stars? Seems to me the last several months there have been more dark halves. Writing the review to encourage Sam's to continue insisting on highest quality form suppliers.

I was very pleased with the quality of these for the price; I price compared these to all other stores in our area and they were at least half the price as others. there were very few that were smaller than half (less than 5%). There were a great option fo making holiday treats and held up to bring baked low and slow. I'm please with overall appearance and flavor

These are good. Every once in a while there will be a bad one in there but I figure that's just the nature of pecans. They have a good flavor. They are good if you're going to chop them up or a eat them out of hand but not the prettiest if you want to use them as decorations on a dessert.

This is a great product. I really like Member's Mark items but I do wish they had pieces and not just halves. Sometimes you just don't feel like pulling out a knife and chopping board and a nut chopper gets the pieces too small. Would like a little versatility...til then, this is my "GO TO".
