The top quarter of the container was separated oil and trying to mix it with the almond butter resulted in a mess on my counter. The butter was very thick and difficult to stir the oil into. I had to pour some of the oil off to complete the process and the almond butter was rather tasty. However, due to the separation, I would not recommend this product.

The almond butter is mediocre and like with anything; there is always room for improvement. Lets start with the coarseness of the product - I did find several large almond chunks that were barely ground up and grittier then other brands. Since being it is called almond "butter;" butter is to be smooth, through out. The other thing is the labeling. When it says, "may contain" other nuts etc.; So my question is, How much almonds to other nut ratios are actually in each jar? To me; the labeling is insinuating the almond butter could be more other types of nut butter rather then almond butter.

I've been getting this for the last 6 months at my local Sam's club in Topeka, KS. This is the best almond butter I've ever had and no secret/hidden ingredients!! It is my favorite snack with celery or an apple!! My family goes through 1 jar every week and a half!! So sad that my club no longer carries it and can't order it online. ☹️

I've been buying this almond butter for years and it always was fantastic, but my last jar I purchased is totally oily and runs like soup, before you couldn't get it off the spoon and was pretty solid/hard, the oil was sitting on the top and I could just pour the oil off/out if I wanted to, but now if you tilt the jar it all runs like butter milk, it now is all oil with some almond flavor if that. The weight is the same but half amount of almond got replaced with oil and mixed up and doesn't even seperate, very disappointing, prices escalate like crazy and product gets lowered/minimized or useless fillers added in packaging!

Best almond butter I've found for the best price I've found. (Don't raise it Sam's, you have me as a forever customer if you keep it affordable!) Yes, the natural oil does separate, and it's a nuisance to remix if you want you butter and you want it NOW! But I've found that if I just flip the jar over after every use, it stays mixed. So bottom's up when I bring it home, and then alternate between bottom's up and top's up everytime I use it!

Not sure why so many bad reviews for this. Most brands sell for same price but half the quantity. It's not tasty because this is pure & no honey etc. added. It's watery because the oil settles at the top. Once i take a butter knife and mix it up (bit of a work for 5-10 mins need to do it only once), it tastes awesome. I use 2 tbsp. in my protein & berry shake and keeps me filled up till lunch time.
