Does not clump well at all. Does not contain odors well at all. Much of the urine stays in the litter after sifting, which makes the litter retain a very unpleasant aroma which eventually spreads throughout the house. On top of this, it is VERY dusty. An actual cloud forms when sifting the litter. I switched back to Fresh Step, and all is much better now. Due to the better clumping of Fresh Step, it takes much longer to go through a bucket of litter, making the Fresh Step actually cheaper in the long run.

You get what you pay for. 42lbs for $10.49 (or whatever the change was) Horrible. Stay away from this stuff. We normally use Tidy Cat but wanted something better - this was not it! It is holy dusty first of all. It has no scent to it, so the litter box smells like a toilet now. It has the consistency of mud...cleaning the box was like digging in the back yard. Maybe it's more like saw dust than dirt, but it isn't granules like other litter. Yes, it's cheap, but it's also VERY CHEAP. (I have nothing good to say about this litter. Sure, it has no scent that will annoy your sinuses, but the dust alone will send you into an asthma attack)

I have been buying this cat litter for years and just purchased the "new improved 4 in 1 formula. It doesn't clump at all like the ones before and my house smells like cat urine the moment I walk in. I am unable to scoop up a "clump", just a few small pieces that don't fall through the scoop. I will be looking for a different brand.

We have seven cats, so we go through a LOT of litter. We shop sales as often as we can, and rely on Member's Mark litter between sales. It's not overly scented, and it does a good job at clumping and odor control. With Plus, it ships free, so I never run out. Try it - you will probably like it! I always buy Tidy Cat but this was all that was available. This litter is dusty, clumps break up before you can fully scoop. My cat developed an allergy and I realized the only changes we had was switching to this litter. One of my other cats wouldn't use it and went on the floor. Also I noticed it didn't remove odors. All the vet could tell me is that our cat had developed an allergy. We finally by process of elimination figured out using this litter was the only change. So $100 later we dumped the litter and we're taking her to a groomer because we looked at her feet and the litter has accumulated between her toes.

Tried this due to attractive price and claims on the label. Probably the worst litter we've ever tried. The dust is unbelievable. When filling or adding to litter in the litterbox, we're careful to pour low, right on top of the litter, and slowly, both to try to minimize dust. Doesn't matter with this stuff. Even simply scooping the litter for clumps (which are kind of crumbly) creates clouds of dust! We normally use a lot of Member's Choice products and have been satisfied overall, but Sam's needs to either find a supplier for better quality litter or simply stop selling it.

This used to have a sent kind of like lemon grass, now it smells like any other litter. Not only do I have multiple chemical sensitivities but the cats refuse to use litter with a strong scent. I was going to get a Sam's Club membership but canceled when I found out I couldn't get the same litter.

Now it is a little dusty, but. Clumps the best I have ever tried. I use less little because of this. No Particles and pieces sifting through the scooper. The cats like it. I was using about 3 Tidy Cat (35lb tubs) per month. With this, I use about one and a half. Can't beat that and the price just saves me a ton of cash. $15 a month as opposed to $42. So it's your choice. Oh and no odors either.

The amount of dust this litter generates is extraordinary...and not in a good way. You need to wear a nuisance dust mask when scooping from this litter. On the plus side, it does control odors adequately. Our cats use it, but we're trying other brands.

We USED to use this cat litter all the time. The formula was recently changed and now it is the WORST cat litter I have ever used in over 40 yrs of owning cats. It has a high amount of dust and very tiny black charcoal pieces that our cats track all over the house. I have never seen such a horrible mess!! The charcoal adds nothing, it smells worse than ever. I suggest it's just in there as useless filler. Unless they return it back to it's original formula we will never purchase this terrible product again.
