Not Recommended

I needed kitty litter, and my Sam's was out of my usual Fresh Step, so I bought a bucket of this. Odor control seems OK, not sure about the dust because that's not really a factor for me, but scoopability is poor, at best. The Fresh Step litter holds the clumps much better than this product. Every time I scoop (every day and sometimes 2X/day) some of the clumps break up and are redistributed into the "clean" litter, and are too small to pick up with my scooper. I am quite disappointed in my purchase. I know I can return it, but I'll probably keep this bucket since I only bought the one. If my Sam's is out of Fresh Step the next time, I'll either order it online or buy it elsewhere.

does not work

I bought this cat litter thinking that as most products of members mark are good BUT NO I only have one cat a calico female. she is outside inside. This litter does not clump!!! It also does not keep the smell of urine or feces down!!!! I was so disappointed in this. I gave it to my husband to use in his garage to sop up oil etc. spills, if it will do that!!! I went back to buying a name brand and so far it is working well.

Product Changed

I have been buying this kitty litter for quite awhile, after finding out my vet team used it at the office and home. I was extremely pleased with the litter. Then, something changed. First, I noticed about 3-4 months ago that the litter was a darker color. Then, I noticed it did not clump as well, and that I needed to do a litter change more frequently. I thought maybe I had a bad batch (as i buy several at a time), but the latest I bought has the same issues. I do not feel I could recommend this at this time.

Going back to Tidy Cats

We bought the Member's Mark clumping litter because our warehouse was out of our Tidy Cats Lightweight at the time. This stuff is terrible! It's super dusty, doesn't clump well, is very heavy and I find myself needing to fully change out the box more often because it just doesn't scoop. Yes, it was cheaper but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. The lightweight stuff might be twice the price but it lasts 2-3 times as long...easily.

Awesome Value

We buy this litter because we have four finicky cats that hate clay litter and it's a 40lb bucket for less than $10. We usually get two buckets a month. Yes, it can be dusty- especially when pouring into the pan. But I haven't had an issue with the dust after that with either of my two pans on carpet or the two on bare floor. The odor control/clumping isn't anything super disappointing to me as well, but with whatever brand of litter I have on hand I always add probably a cup of baking soda to each new litter change out and sprinkle in a couple of tablespoons after every scooping as well. I just grab a 3lb bag of baking soda from the baking aisle when we're there. The bag lasts us like six weeks and costs less than four bucks. All in all, still a great value for us.

Dustiest Cat Litter I have ever used

This cat litter is the dustiest litter I have ever used and I've tried several brands. It has gotten dust everywhere. I bought two buckets and am taking one full one and one partially used one back. This is the first Member's Mark product I have purchased where I though the quality was extremely poor. This should be advertised as "talcum powder for Kitties". The amount of dust it produces in normal use is simply unacceptable. Cheap but dusty - a very poor quality product.

Worst cat litter ever!!!!

Does not absorb smell AT ALL!!! Clumping was fine, but even after cleaning the litter box it reaked still (I was having to clean it after every use of the box )! Had to dump the litter and put in a different brand cat litter and no problems since. Will never buy again! Does Sam's accept returns because I have two more containers that need to go back!

Awful

This litter is awful it has so much dust it in. The dust gets everyone sneezing and it gets everywhere. It has a bad smell to it too. Doesn't clump up like it suppose to. Will not ever buy this again and wouldn't recommend it either. We just bought it since we are on a budget but it's not even worth what they charge for it.

ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES

This cat litter provides NO odor control. As a matter of fact, even after removing the clumps each day, the "clean" remainder smells awful. This remainder contains small clumps of litter that are the result of incomplete clumping. The dust factor is medium high as evidenced even before purchasing the product as every lid is covered in dust. That same dust will be in your environment upon use. This product is useful ONLY due to some kind of emergency. On my income I could really use a litter that costs less than $10 for 42 pounds as this one does. But if I have to purchase it every 4 to 5 days because of inferior quality (no odor control, low clumping capability, lots of dust)

Too much DUST, it gets all over everything!

Bought this because we have a lot of cats, seemed like a great deal, but after using it for about 3-4 months, it is way too dusty. It leaves dust when you add this litter to their boxes, we have 3 extremely large litter boxes. We thought this would be better than paying the higher price for a name brand we'd been using in the past, but sadly, this one turned out to be a bust. Clean dust getting around is bad enough, but the issue is, when the cats go in and do their business and then start covering it up, the dust starts flying, and it's worse than when you add the litter in yourself, as you can somewhat control some of the dust, but you can't control how kitty shovels the litter, and when they do, the dust gets all over everything. The littler boxes are nowhere near my kitchen, but when kitty goes and the dust flies, it's disgusting, because the dust they are stirring up is getting all over my coffee maker, toaster, crock pot,and microwave that sit on my kitchen countertops, where they belong, not to mention my box freezer and refrigerator . So because of all the dust being stirred up by every cat using the litter box, I have had to quit using this litter, outside for other uses may be great, but inside for litter box use, no way could I recommend this particular membermark product. Not with all the dust I had to constantly clean up off my appliances in my kitchen area. If my kitchen were able to be closed off I still would not use this product, it's just far too dusty. We went back to a namebrand we know worked well for multiple cats and it doesn't have the dust issues this product does., It is inexpensive, but in this case, inexpensive isn't the way to go, buy a clumping brand that's more dustless than this stuff. I was hoping it would have worked for us, but definitely a no go in my multi-cat home.
