I bought this grill based on the features. I have always used grills with the cast grates because they last longer. But what I found impressive was the burner shields. They were thick and heavy porcelain covered metal, This is what usually rusts out first on my grills. I also liked the wood chip tray and the propane tank slide. Nice touch. Can't think of anything else I would add if I was designing a grill myself. The price was more than reasonable for what you get. Compare the features on some other three hundred dollar grills and I think you will agree.

Purchased this grill last year prior to the outdoor grilling season. Within a month the grates rusted out. I was given replacements without question which was good service, however the replacement grates have now rusted out again. Kind of hard to clean them without damaging the coating, food sticks to the grates hence creating the rust problem I have seen mentioned on other reviews. Finding replacement grates to fit the dimensions of this grill have been challenging so need to improve the grates to get this to 5 stars

I BOUGHT THIS 8 MONTHS AGO, WORST GRILL EVER, COOKED GREAT, SEASONED IT BEFORE WE USED IT. NOW THE GRATES HAVE RUSTED, 3 OF THE 5 BURNERS HAVE BLOWN. CALLED COMPANY TO REPLACE THE ITEMS WOULD COST ME MORE THAN A NEW ONE. WHAT 100% GUARANTEE ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT.

Bought this grill a little over a year ago. Has great heavy duty grates and cooked well until about 2 months ago. Notices all of the flame and heat was near the crossovers in the back. Took it apart last night to find all of the burners are cracking wide open, splitting and pretty much trashed. This model is made by "Rankam Group" out of Hong Kong and replacement parts are impossible to find (I mean impossible!). I had a MM grill for years prior to this and was able to readily find replacement parts as needed and used it till the body rusted out. Be wary of the burners and I recommend shopping for a different brand until Sam's starts using manufacturers that offer affordable, available replacement parts.

Save your money. We have to replace the burners and grates as they have completely rusted out. We may have had if for 3 years but I believe it is only 2. Parts are either non existent or not easy to come by as no one sells them locally or online. I was able to locate the email address for parts in a response to a previous review, however they have not replied back to me.

I purchased this year 1 year ago and all 5 burners have rusted through already! Very disappointing. After reading the other reviews with this same problem, I also emailed the manufacturer and will wait on a response. Hopefully they make good on it and mail me new burners.

There is no doubt.. this is a cheap grill. There is no doubt that in a few years it will rust and deteriorate, Inside and out... BUT, the real deal here is if it will happen to hang together longer with a little care, it just MAY be worth it. For 250.00 on sale you can't touch another grill like it with its features, etc. Assembly is not terrible if you are reasonably handy, but you can tell the materials are pretty flimsy and cheap..... BUT again.. for the price, we are going to give it a go. I've had 1000.00 Weber's and 50.00 garage sale grills, and they all fail and go to heck sooner or later... If I can get a reasonable amount of time out of this one, I'll consider it a good buy !

This BBQ appears very nice and to be a quality product. However, each BBQ (2) we attempted to assemble had missing parts (ie: 4 caster / wheels). SAM's Club was very good about replacing the first unit ... when we realized the second box also did not contain the same missing parts, we gave up an returned that one as well. Again, SAM's Club made each of these transactions go smoothly, but in the end we just wanted a functioning BBQ with all parts included.

As a competent fabricator I will caution a unskilled or unhandy person to pay the fee and get this assembled and delivered. A real novice may struggle with assembly. My build time was 2 hours and 45 minutes from unpacking to attachment of my propane gas bottle. When attaching the front door assemblies pay attention as you will use the 8 small silver screws. The caster wheels are boxed inside the grill assembly that cost me 10 minutes of time searching. If you follow the instructions step by step and do it exactly as instructed it is a uncompleted process for a mechanical person. This is a very nice grill and has many features making it compare with grills costing twice the Sams price. The cast iron grill surface cooking area was a selling feature, it appears very durable. The battery operated igniter appears to be the weak link of all the components! This is an excellent value at the current Sams Club price of $299

Have been using mine for a month now and I am extremely pleased. For the price this was the most solid grill I could find. The lid is heavy, the thermometer actually works, and the grilling surface is designed to catch those small pieces of food that fall through the traditional style surface. During assembly I was impressed by the attention to detail in design and manufacturing. All screws mate with threaded inserts, so there are no nuts to have to hold with a wrench. By far, the nicest grill that I could find at this price.
