I would highly recommend this grill. It is very solid built and cooks great. We bought this grill after seeing how solid it was. The directions to put it together were very easy to follow and it was labeled well. The only thing that was a negative and it isn't the grills fault but when buying from Sam's in the box be sure it isn't beat up. Ours had several dents but we were still able to keep it because loading it back up to return was too much effort.

I bought this in September because we needed a new grill and I have bought a few of them over the past years. I have bought the cheaper brands and replaced them every 3 or 4 years. I checked this grill out at my local Sam's because they had them on display assembled and the grill is very sturdy with thicker stainless steel. My wife cooked on this for the first time and it was outstanding to say the least. It gets very hot fast so start cooking on low and work your way up on the temp. The burners sit lower than your regular grills under the tents which I think is great because they don't get all the splatter from the marinades and juices. Brilliant idea. We like this grill very much.

My husband has been struggling with our 8 year-old $200 grill which was a piece of junk from the get go, so we decided it's time to get a new one as our Christmas gift. My husband just loves it. He loves all the features, and it is made to last. We haven't had a bad meal once. The grill grates are high quality and he loves all the burners and the ability to use wood smoke if desired. We wish we had bought it sooner but we BBQ all year round. It wasn't that hard or too time consuming to put together either. It truly was worth more than what we paid for it!

Purchased this to replace a 5 year old grill. The cast iron grates work great and the flame is tamed when you're cooking so no flare ups. Overall a great purchase!

I bought this grill a couple of days ago at the Kingston, New York club. I had some reservations about it at first because I was concerned about the availability of parts for an "off-brand" grill; but after contacting the manufacturer about parts and talking to Marcy (the Manager of the Kingston club) about the Member Satisfaction Guarantee, I decided to take a chance. So far, I'm glad I did. Let's start with the assembly. It took me about an hour and a half, but I was working outside on my deck, in the dark, in near-freezing temperatures. On a warm, sunny day, I'd say 45 minutes to an hour. The instructions were clear and complete. If you have any handyman (handyperson?) skills at all, this should be a straightforward assembly. You'll probably need a helper to lift the firebox onto the stand. Other than that, it's an easy one-person job. Don't lose any screws! They don't give you any extras. On the other hand, they do give you a screwdriver and a wrench; so if you own no tools (gasp!), be of good cheer: You can still assemble this grill. Once assembled, the grill is extremely sturdy; but it still rolls around easily on its casters. The fit and finish are also very good. The grill lit instantly when I started it to season the grates. With all five burners on low, it achieved a temperature of about 460 F in about 20 minutes. The grates are porcelain coated cast iron and look sturdy enough, but I suggest using a non-metallic brush to clean them. I also use a wooden spatula rather than a metal one, but that's just me. Maybe that's why my stuff lasts so long. Being OCD can have its good points. On my first test flight, the grill cooked evenly. The flames and temperature responded very well to the knobs, and the smoker tray made smoke, which I guess is all one can expect of a smoker tray. The feel of the control knobs is very smooth. They have a quality feel to them. I really can't think of anything I don't like about this grill. My one criticism is that I would have liked them to include a couple of extra screws. I didn't lose any, but seeing as how this is the sort of thing that one assembles outside on a deck or in the grass, where things like dropped screws can easily disappear, I think including a few extras would have been a nice gesture. But because they're standard screws, it wasn't worth deducting a star. If they were crazy proprietary screws, then I would have. But these screws can be obtained at any hardware store, so I'll give them a pass on the lack of extras. In summary, I'm happy. I think for the price, this grill is an incredible bargain. I'm glad I bought it. If I fall out of love with it at some future time, however, I'll let you know. Happy grilling, Richard

Don't hesitate, for $300.00, this is an absolute steal. I was in the market for a similar grill that would cost $800.00. I am not a snob for names, but I think it's worth it to buy quality items. I have cooked on this a few dozen times and it cooks even and holds heat wonderful. It has made me a better cook for sure. It is a larger grill, and even my friends that have Genisis, and summit grills from Weber were impressed. Like with all good items at SAMs, this will not be back next year..... They will have a similar version for more money. Seriously , if you are even considering this, buy it right now.

After much research, I purchased this unit and opted to pick it up rather than have the store deliver for extra. I had some store credit so was cheaper for me as well as using the discounts I had access to (Discover Card and Ebates). In the parking lot, I unboxed the unit and found that some of the sheet metal was dented pretty badly. Knowing this was the only one in stock, I chose to just fix it myself at home. I continued to unbox the entire unit in my garage and checked the parts list before starting the assembly. The unit comes together very quickly and the only slowdown was the fix I had to do to the metal. You can tell it was mangled but the enamel seems to of survived so I am not worried about rust yet. Once it was assembled I wheeled it to the backyard for seasoning. Pros: 5 burners Slide out tray for propane tank Electronic ignition Built in thermo Cons: If it gets hit by strong winds, it can make it difficult to keep the burners lit. The smoke tray burns the wood more than smokes it. you will be left with charcoal and eventually they will burn into ash. You can smell the wood but I have yet to get it to transfer any of that flavor to my meats since grilling is done quickly. I mainly use it when I do a large batch of chicken since I will have most of the grill covered. The grill grates are good but I think they would of been better if they were coated. Seasoning them helps keep the food from sticking but its not perfect. Grease catch is barely held in place. Make sure you have a good grip when pulling it out or you might have a bit of a mess.

This is a nice grill especially for the price. I would have given 4 stars if it hadn't been dented in a couple places making it difficult to assemble.

Bought this grill a little over a year ago. Has great heavy duty grates and cooked well until about 2 months ago. Notices all of the flame and heat was near the crossovers in the back. Took it apart last night to find all of the burners are cracking wide open, splitting and pretty much trashed. This model is made by "Rankam Group" out of Hong Kong and replacement parts are impossible to find (I mean impossible!). I had a MM grill for years prior to this and was able to readily find replacement parts as needed and used it till the body rusted out. Be wary of the burners and I recommend shopping for a different brand until Sam's starts using manufacturers that offer affordable, available replacement parts.

Have to unbox so can haul Grill in car first Grill damaged on the bottom both sides had to bring back in store second Grill unboxed handle rusted where attached to lid and handle rusted. Replaced with lid they had for fixing other damage grills. finally got home one day later unboxed the big box with accessories, frame extensively damaged had to bring everything back to Janesville store from Beloit and to get my money back no more grills
