Normally I buy amber syrup, but at less than half the price of what I pay at the local market I decided to give the darker syrup a try. It has a slightly more pronounce maple flavor, which I enjoy. I've used it with waffles, French toast, and cookies all with great results. It's a big container for a single person, but refrigerated it can last six months to a year, so well worth the buy if you can use it within that time frame.

Seems to be an excellent maple syrup and organic as it should be! Healthier than cane sugar or fake sugars. Can't beat the price. However, it needs to come in a glass bottle to match the pure integrity of organic syrup.

I do prefer pure organic maple syrup to the artificial flavored in the store which is mostly sugar. We don't use a lot of this, but it is much better used in the recipes that I use it in, such as homemade granola, and flavorings for smoothies.
