These are the best knives I've ever owned. I've had the same set for 21 years and have never had to sharpen. My son just asked for a new set of knives for his birthday because the expensive set I bought him 2 years ago, always needs sharpened. I told him that the knives I have, I've had since he was a kid and have never sharpened. He said that he wants those for his birthday then. The newest member I've had to replace are the pairing knives because mine were taken, have a new safety feature, the handle floats so no grabbing by the blade under soapy water and getting cut. Love these knives!
