The Fresh Gourmet Cranberry and Pecan topping has the right mix of cranberries and pecans. The cranberries are surprisingly soft. I have preferred eating a handful of the topping plain as a snack, but it would be great on salad, yogurt or baked into sweet breads or muffins. This is a versatile product. I chose to add this product to my yogurt in the morning for breakfast. It was a change from what I normally do but a good one. I give this product four stars because I think it's tasty but didn't blow me away. I think you'll enjoy it too as it's a good, healthy alternative to some of the other toppings out there. Good flavor and pecans were crunchy. Cranberry to pecan ratio is too many cranberries. Calorie count is good but sodium is a little. I had this mix on my salad for lunch, and it was good. I love this stuff. It's tasty on top of everything from sweet to savory. Everytime I need to bring a couple of dishes to a party this always makes an appearance. Last week was my niece's baby shower, I made a coleslaw using bagged, shredded, tri colored cabbage, jarred coleslaw dressing with this mixed in and everyone flipped over it. (Honestly I was a little disappointed as I also made pulled pork plus 3 other dishes) and this is what got all the accolades. It's also awesome mixed with broiled Brussel sprouts, or as a sweet potato or yogurt topping. It's very versatile. definitely a kitchen staple that elevates every dish.
