The fried sweet cranberries and the honey roasted pecans are a wonderful topper to my daily salad giving each bite its own flavor. I tried this in my homemade chicken salad as well as a topping on my afternoon yogurt. The topping Was a great compliment for both Foods. To my surprise this was not an overly sweet topping. The pecans although honey roasted have just a hint of sweetness and the cranberries have a good balance to tart and sweet. The topping is very cranberry heavy about 80% or so . I used this mix to make oatmeal cookies and they were delicious! While preparing my cookies my family and I must’ve eaten half the bag plain as well. The Fresh Gourmet Cranberry & pecan topping are the perfect balance of salty and sweet. I love how finely chopped the pecans are and the cranberries are petite. Each serving if evenly coated in a blend of salt and sugar. The topping mix has a slight crunch to it but it's definitely not hard to chew. The topping will definitely be perfect over yogurt and will add that missing touch to any salad. I cannot wait to make kale salad with this as it'll be the perfect addition. I purchased the salad topper pecans and cranberries because I love having a extra addition to my salads but also thought it would be a nice addition when I was making bread or for stuffing. The taste is great, so fresh and hearty. The price really wasn't bad either at less than $9 for such a large bag. I definitely would purchase again.
