I used this mix to make oatmeal cookies and they were delicious! While preparing my cookies my family and I must’ve eaten half the bag plain as well. I tried the cranberry and pecan topping from Fresh Gourmet. It has mostly cranberries and smaller pieces of pecans. The pecans are heavily processed so that they are almost like a rice crispy texture. It tasted similar having an airiness to it. I added it to a salad and again, the cranberries flavor was the only thing that really carried through. I may possibly take the nuts and separate them out. I will use it in overnight oats and also slow-cooked oats. It is a fantastic value for the price with all those cranberries. This topping mix is so flavorful and well seasoned. It would be great on oatmeal with a little bit of butter, or as a salad topping. I'll definitely be purchasing this in the future. Love this in Oatmeal - cooked OR the baked (pastry-like) kinds, plus in/on various kinds of salads, from green salads to chopped turkey w/mayo, etc. Just wish I could buy more. Sam's Site says in store only AND that it is available, but won't let me purchase online to pick up, AND was not anywhere IN the store yesterday. I know things are different right now due to Covid-19, but all the more reason to keep employing people who can update the website with current & accurate info. ALSO frustrated there is no way to contact corporate other than wait for a Chat opening - 30 min or longer. Should be a way to email for lower priority questions and requests.
