[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a hard time with most types of packing tape - the tape always peels unevenly off of the roll, making a mess and forcing me to waste some of it. Not so with this one from 3M! Not only is it heavy duty and super easy to tear, but each layer of tape stays whole, making it so much easier to use. I'm going to use this brand from now on. **Note: I received this item for free, but my opinions are not influenced by that fact.**

Scotch, what did you do to your "tape"?! It won't stick to anything, let alone the box I'm trying to seal. I've used your tape in the past without an issue. Should have had a recall. (no receipt though, never thought I'd need to take you up on your guarantee)

We pack our orders, tape them up, ship and forget it. We use a number of tapes but the packaging tape is used the most. We have NEVER had a problem!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a roll of this tough stuff to test and I'm now a big fan. It holds fast on every box I've tried no matter the texture or the load. Once it's stuck, it's staying or else you'll damage the paper it's stuck to. The dispenser works perfectly just like the other packing tape dispensers I've used on Scotch products. Perfect for heavy moving boxes!

The dispenser has held up to this day & I just buy more Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Package Tape refills since then for special occasion & holiday shipping. I recommend this product highly.

I ordered the six pack of the tape in the dispensers. First, I have never figured out (using for years) how to easily get that little piece of cardboard out that gets stuck in the way of the blade. But the tape I just received, the tape is actually installed backwards! Yes, it was easy to take it off and turn it around, but really - who put it together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this tape for many years, even before 3M sent me the sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape with Dispenser. It works wonderfully well to close up boxes and packages for shipping and storage. I like that I can write on it with permanent marker or ball-point pen. Postage labels adhere without difficulty. My most frequent use is for "laminating" prayer cards, recipe cards, art, and other items that I want to keep safe from continued handling and moisture. Much more cost-effective and easier to use than a laminating machine - portable, too! Can you tell that I really, really like this tape? WOW!

The dispenser makes it convenient to cut and keeps the tape from getting twisted. Also, it makes it very easy to find the end of the roll.
