[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape and used this product to seal a package to mail. The tape is wonderful! It dispensed very easily and smoothly. This tape is strong enough to tape cartons of books with just one strip! The adhesive on the tape really holds. The other thing I like about this tape is that it is clear so it can easily be used over labels without fear of covering important shipping information. The amount and length could be a little longer but it’s enough. The tear teeth are sharp and make it easy to get any size piece you need.

I used the sample and was impressed with its performance and ease of use. The dispenser was handy and made it easy to seal packages. It's small size enabled me to put the tape in my purse to bring to the Post Office. I would buy this product, and I highly recommend it.

I recently got a small sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape in the mail to try from 3M, however it arrived after I took off to Illinois to be with my son who is now in hospice with stage 4 Stomach Cancer. Even while my oldest son was deployed in Iraq with the US Army, the countless care packages I shipped, I used 3M's Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape.

I always have packages to send out for returns and this is an awesome shipping tape to use to tape up those amazon boxes I need to return. I love the compact size and the ability to keep it tucked away in a drawer to use when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite tape! Taping packages is just one of the many things I use it for, but one "unorthodox" use is to remove other things. For example, if I remove a label and it leaves part of the label and/or a sticky residue, I put a piece of this tape over it, press it down, and then remove the tape......takes everything with it! As for its main purpose.....it is the best packing tape you can buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tape and dispenser. I never have a problem with the tape rolling back in on the roll. The dispenser is easy to use. It helps to keep the tape straight so I can tape my boxes together for shipping. I know that when I use this tape I can be sure that the package I'm sending will not come open.

I purchased an eight pack of scotch premium performance packaging tape a month ago. Needless to say I did not think there would be a problem. Now I can't find my receipt. I loaded a tape gun finding the tape does not stick. I tried another roll and the same thing occurred. I am very disappointed. I thought I was buying the best packaging tape for the job. I now have 8 rolls of nonstick tape. This was money down the drain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried overall 6 different brands of Packaging Tape for my Shipping Supplies of Boxes & re-inforcing bubble mailers. I personally feel this tape performed the BEST out of ALL the other brands. Easy to 'Start off' the roll, simple application to the boxes & holds up to everything (I have yet to have a buyer tell me that a box broke it's seal or the tape gave out/ ripped). Overall, EXCELLENT product, great value, too (you use less of it--you don't have to go over the same spot 2 to 3 times). Hope this helps you decide, Jecca A.
