[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use Scotch packaging tape, but had not tried the heavy duty. This is very heavy duty. I would trust it for any package that might be heavy that you want to ensure it keep taped shut. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that it was very hard to get the tape started. It tore in multiple places (see photo). One I got it started then it worked great!

Bought shipping and packing tape for a move. It just kept lifting off. At one point I was lifting a box off the ground and my foot stuck to a piece of lifted tape. The whole bottom came open Definiely NOT using this on my next move (a month from now)

I have purchased Scotch brand heavy duty tape for years to ship packages to my family. I purchased a 38.2 yd heavy duty 20x stronger roll again today but unfortunately, while wrapping the large package, the tape ripped in my hands a number of times. Totally disappointed and surprised. I hope it is just a bad batch. 0 51131 96134 0

Three ibuprofens and hour later, still struggling to figure out how to release beginning of tape roll so I could start using it. There was no tab to pull on end of tape to get it started. There were no directions on package, either. Finally put roll under bright light and examined. There is an INVISABLE perforation that needs to be broken and tape then released. There was no way to know this on the package.
