We had water soaked boxes and a mess . But the boxes we got and the Scotch brand movers tape made it a breeze to repack the damaged boxes and move them to a different place. I purchased this tape to ship Christmas packages after years of satisfactory use of Scotch products. Don’t know what Has changed but this is pure crap. It doesn’t stick to anything, even it’s own dry side. That failure is a sure sign of America’s decline.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although Scotch Premium Performance packaging tape is excellent for sealing packages to be mailed, I have found other wonderful uses. I sew. She who sews must occasionally rip. Scotch Packaging tape is the pickier-upper for all the little loose threads on my fabric. I also use it to pick up cat hair on my furniture before company comes, to de-lint my husband's jacket when he leaves for work and to pick up what I can't see on the mat in front of my kitchen sink. I'm so fond of its many uses that I buy several rolls at a time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Package Tape is not only good for sealing shipping containers it is also good for repairing packing boxes that are used for storing household goods or craft supplies. I use a lot of card stock in my crafting. The larger remnants are kept in cardboard boxes. Tonight I repaired two such boxes with this tape because the tape is strong enough to reinforce the weak and torn places. The reason I deducted a star from my rating is that the tape will sometimes tear where that tear is not wanted.

The tape is thicker that other shipping tape, which is thicker than other shipping tape helps it not roll and stick to itself. The tape has a strong stick to packaging allowing it stick well and hold the packaging together. The dispenser is small and easy to handle, the cutting tool works well.
