I always have packages to send out for returns and this is an awesome shipping tape to use to tape up those amazon boxes I need to return. I love the compact size and the ability to keep it tucked away in a drawer to use when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the quality of the Scotch tape - it's thicker than most cellophane tape and very sturdy. The handle that comes with it is also sturdy. Finding the start of the tape roll was not that easy,,,it should have had a card adhered to the start of the roll for easy usage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping tape to review. I have used Scotch shipping tape for years. This doesn't seem a whole lot different from what I've used previously. It may be a bit thicker. I don't like the dispenser it came on however. Just too flimsy and it's hard to cut the tape with. I have a regular dispenser that I use and it works so much better. I recently moved and only used 3M tape for all the boxes I packed. There were only a couple that didn't stay closed but I can't say if that was the tape or the person who taped it. I have used other brands in the past but they were far too thin and not strong enough to keep boxes closed. I have also used this tape to get cat hair off my furniture and clothing. It works great for that!! And since it's clear (nearly invisible), I've used it to repair items as well.

You get what you pay for The other ones don't stay on so I am through wasting money I will only use Scotch brand products so no more wasting money.

I was in need of packing/shipping tape that would actually STICK to the various shipping materials I use, and Stay stuck. Other tapes never kept cardboard boxes closed during transit, or I had to use do much if it, it was rediculous. Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape works better than I ever could have hoped for. I run an online retail shop and usually need to pack and ship multiple packages a day. This tape is the ONLY tape I've found (and believe me I've tried them all) that actually WORKS. I only need one strip to seal a box top securely, due to the tapes extra durable thickness. No more 'X' pattern across box tops, no more going through a roll of tape every few days. I am SO grateful I found this tape, and I HIGHLY recommend I for anyone who packs & ships things on a regular basis. You'll never go back to another brand.

The dispenser makes it convenient to cut and keeps the tape from getting twisted. Also, it makes it very easy to find the end of the roll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy duty packaging tape by Scotch is an excellent buy. It seals and has great holding power on heavy boxes that are packed to be mailed out and delivered. The tape also came with a refillable dispenser.

I had to move all my belongings into storage and I needed very strong tape for all my heavy boxes holding my delicate vintage dishes, books, etc. Scotch Brand Heavy Duty Packaging Tape got the job done without worry! This tape has a very strong seal and excellent holding power!!! It does not split, tear or shred like all the cheap knock off brand tapes. I highly recommend using this tape for all your moving needs!!!!

I just wish the dispenser was easier to use. I can't get tape to follow notches or stay in place between uses. I just don't have the knack for using these dispensers!
