This like most all Starbucks products is a class above the rest. I purchased it in the bulk form. It is considerably cheaper that way. For what it is worth I do three pulls per serving on each espresso pod. The coffee taste is still plenty strong for my tastes.

I really like the intense flavor of this, but I noticed that I was getting bad headaches after drinking it. So I switched to another flavor, headaches gone. Then I recently bought Espresso again and the headaches came back. So, I’ve stopped buying it. Now i buy Sumatra; no headaches. P.s. when I get an Americano and Espresso Macchiato in the store, I don’t get any headaches. Only from this at-home bag. I don’t know what is in this to cause headaches.

Ordered Espresso Whole Beans due to promotion, but alway5s mystified why bagged espresso never has the flavor and tastiness of the espresso used in stores from their 5 lb. bags? Whenever possible, I buy 2 or 3 lbs at stores and request from their store's 5 lb. bag which is significantly more flavorful. WHY the difference

Occasionally I like to enjoy an espresso at home. We own an average Saeco espresso machine. I tried different roasts and my favorites are Dallmayr Espresso Monaco and Lavazza Caffè Espresso. Compared to these Starbucks Espresso Roast is the worst. It is ground like regular coffee powder, it creates no crema and tastes burnt.

I was feeling very skeptic about purchasing the espresso pods and making my own drink, but once I made my salted caramel mocha at home I was very happy. Tastes just like my local Starbucks drinks.The espresso pods are wonderful! Everyone that I have made a drink for thus far has loved them!

Been using them and the ground coffee for years. I have a difficult time finding espresso reg. and decaf at stores. I am unhappy with that. There are four stores reasonably near me and only the new store had any in stock. If this is being discontinued, I would like to know do I can buy a Keurig and be ready to switch.

At times I will try other coffees, however, nothing is as good as Starbucks espresso roast. Only Illy comes a close second. The espresso roast makes fantastic latte's on my Jura machine. Drinking a nice cup of coffee is one of the best parts of my morning.
