We like dark roast coffee. I was concerned this might be too dark/strong flavored. It's not. Tasty and enjoyable. We rarely GO to Starbucks so really hard no idea what to expect. Purchased two bags so we are glad it's to our liking.

This is hands down the best Starbucks coffee in the world! Now this comes in beans so you need a grinder in the store or at home. You grind these magic beans to fine and it will make your coffee maker seem gourmet. Thank me later.

I had been buying this coffee in small retail bags when I could find it in stock. The 40 ounce package is more convenient and a cost saving purchase. Thanks Sam's.

I like bold flavors, so this is a coffee I would prefer in the past. I’ve since tried another brand that I prefer more. This bean has somewhat of a “burnt” aftertaste that, if not present, would’ve helped it earn 5 stars.

If you like dark roast with a deep rich flavor this is the one. Follow the instruction on the bag and its almost too strong. I adjusted it to my own tastes and the flavor is really great. Nice strong cup of Joe

For me, this particular blend was too dark and bitter. It was not a favorite. I like Member’s Mark Colombian better. We tried, but then disposed of it.

Best deal, you can't beat it. It's a crying shame that Sam's doesn't offer more varieties of hole bean coffee. Italian roast coffee in the 40oz would be a good one to start with!!!!!!!

Ordered this for the first time online for delivery. Was surprised how large it was. I love dark roast and was a little afraid espresso would be too strong but was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it.

It has a slightly more bitter flavor than regular espresso but overall was enjoyable. This blend would be a nice addition to chocolate to enhance the flavor for brownies. #freesample
