The beans are fresh and make a great roobust cup of coffee. I grind them as fine as I can & use 6 level scoops for a 12 cup pot. Everyone says I make the best coffee in the neighborhood!

Best deal, you can't beat it. It's a crying shame that Sam's doesn't offer more varieties of hole bean coffee. Italian roast coffee in the 40oz would be a good one to start with!!!!!!!

Delicious, robust, smooth and dark. If you're not a medium roast or less kinda person this is the best bang for your buck. We've been buying this for years.
