Tried all of the various brands of Starbucks. Enjoy the Anniversary Blend and seasonal offerings: Thanksgiving-Christmas-Holiday blends. But my number one is Pike Place. The taste, first thing in the morning ,puts me in the right frame of mind for the rest of the day. My favorite.

So frustrated. I have ordered this coffee MULTIPLE times for allll different stores and they are ALL chocolate and toasted nut and it is GROSS. So disappointed that I finally found a coffee i like and now i have to look elsewhere and start all over. Please bring back the original. Quite a few of us have had to stop buying starbucks bc it was the only one we enjoyed.

I purchased a ninja coffee maker and wanted to find a really good quality coffee. I was excited when I decided to purchase Pike Place kcups. The coffee tastes good but it's a real disappointment when I get a mouthful of coffee grinds. Yuck! This was the case with 90% of the kcups. I bought a 60 count box. I tried other kcups in my new coffee maker and there was no problem. It's the Pike Place kcups. I am very disappointed. I was looking forward to drinking high quality coffee in the mornings. Could this be a bad box and it wouldn't happen again? Should I try again or move on. I'm not sure.

I have been drinking Pikes Place daily for many many years... Its my only go to blend in stores and at home as well. The last few months the smell.. taste.. color and body of Pikes has changed for the worst. No life.. no flavor. It tastes like dead coffee. Watered down.. the coloring has changed as well. Weak. New packaging in the stores states notes of cocoa and rich praline. The original Pikes Place as well as the package pictured on this website says rich flavors of cocoa and toasted nuts...thats the good stuff..however stores are now stocked with new blend and packaging saying cocoa and praline...Huge difference. Starbucks changed the blend to a weaker blend and kept the name Pikes Place thinking the customers won't notice. Shame on you Starbucks. This new Pikes is awful. You should promote this new blend as Pikes light or something else. It is flavorless watered down coffee. Please bring back the original Pikes Place and rename this new blend of Pikes in your stores or better yet.. remove it. I love my local baristas.. they go above and beyond to make the customers happy but unfortunately.. I won't be visiting Starbucks daily if they cant bring back the original delicious aromatic Pikes Place. Why ruin a good thing Starbucks!

This roast is on the mid-light side of a medium roast. I opened my brand new store-bought bag of coffee beans, and the beans were nearly black. The beans were secreting oils from over-roasting. They need to change the scale for Pike Place. This was easily a medium-dark roast. The aftertaste burns my throat as I type this message (this is no exaggeration).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually grind whole beans for my pour over, but this Starbucks Pike Place coffee has me wondering why I bother with the hassle and mess of grinding beans myself. I didn't expect a ground coffee to have a fullness of flavor rivaling whole bean. The Pike Place roast is a classic for a reason - High quality and great flavor. I will keep this in my rotation from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a coffee freak to say the least and Starbucks is always at the top of my list! What I love about this brew is the hints of chocolate and nutty aroma. I brew it in my espresso maker and pair it with my Coffee creamer. Definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the opportunity to the Starbucks K-Cups in Pike Place and they are yummy. The K-Cups are super easy to use in my Keurig and I love that I can make these from home. I also love the flavor of the Pike Place medium roast with its cocoa and praline notes. Could smell and taste the hints of both flavors in it. Perfect blend.
