[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a coffee to either wake you up, grow hair on your chest or have a morning bowel movement this is the coffee for you. Very good and very strong coffee. After having weak stuff for so long it is nice to drink something strong again.

I have been drinking Pike Place for YEARS! I stop by twice on my way to work to get a grande pike and when the weekend rolls around and I don't feel like getting out to the store, I grind and make a pot at home. Thanks for some awesome coffee Starbucks!

The coffee is great! I love Pike Place Roast. What i didn't like is it took forever to get here. When i ordered it they said a week . It took 2 weeks. It could have been because of the holidays. So, I'll order it again later. Allowing 2 weeks, will not have me out of coffee before it gets here.

Pike Place Roast has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years now. I used to only buy it brewed fresh from the store, but now that I have a nice coffee grinder, I buy whole bean Pike Place Roast from the grocery store and make it fresh at home. This also saves me a little money which is nice (as opposed to buying a grande from Starbucks). Taste is a nice medium with a solid flavor, but not overpowering. I drink coffee black, so it's important to me that it taste delicious without any extras.

Got a bag of the ground from my local store. The taste has changed, you can tell just from smelling it in the bag. Pike Place no longer has a buttery smooth taste all the way through. Now, it has a harsh bitter almost burnt taste at the end! I thought I got a bad batch, but this doesn't seem to be the case as per other reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally don't drink coffee. But this one smelled so good I just had to give it a try. A little sugar and I took a sip. I was blown away with how great it tasted. I could taste a little hint of Cocoa and a nutty flavor too. Looks like I might be a coffee drinker now.

One of my issues with coffee (while I absolutely love it), is that I get tired of just creamer and sugar. With this one and it's subtle notes of flavor, I don't have to go out and get those excessively sweet syrups or awful pre-flavored creamers. Will buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee is so delicious. It brews up quickly and has such an amazing flavor. I love the way it smells too. It gives me the perfect morning pick me up that I need. I love making it one cup at a time so there is no wasted coffee if I decide I only need one cup.

I love the Pike Place Roast (except during the holidays). Pike Place is a nice roast that seems to please all people's palate. It isn't too strong for those don't care for a bold flavor and it's not weak like having "brown water". I highly recommend this roast.
