Lid doesn't seal. Needs a gasket to be airtight. This isn't appropriate for food storage; moisture, air and small pests can get in easily.

Once I figured out how the lid fits on ghe container, i am very pleased with it. It keeps my dogs dry food fresh.

The container is of great quality only thing is that the lid doesn’t close tightly. Maybe I just got a defective one. Overall great price!

I am actually using this to store rice in with air absorbers, So far so good! I may try storing flour in one too.

These containers are great for storing dog/ cat food. I’m actually trying one for bird seed. It’s not quite large enough for a Sam’s size bird seed bag, but that’s okay. I just bought one for my daughter. For this price, you can’t beat it.
