Save your future empty glass jars for long term storage items. No hand wringing and clutching your pearls...you know prices are rising rapidly. Walmart has held the line on many items. Take advantage of the pause.

Coming from an Asian household, our parents don’t go with any other rice than Basmati, considering that it is hard to find it anywhere else at this price this looks like a good deal but the difference in price at Sam’s vs other stores is not that big so I wish they work on that, the quality of the rice is top notch of course.

First time purchase. Excellent quality basmati rice. Follow directions and you will be be enjoying fluffy rice in 20 minutes. There is no need for a rice cooker. I cook extra so that i can make our favorite rice custard for next mornings breakfast or enjoys as a dessert/snack. So many possibilities with this excellent grain rice from India. Great rustic packaging utilizing a reuseable burlap designed bag with zippered closure.

This is a really tasty basmati rice. It has a good texture, scent, and flavor, entirely different from white or jasmine rice. I was thrilled to see that I was able to buy this "essential" product before it went out of stock indefinitely, since we now live in a time where staple food items like rice are a hot commodity that you have to race to buy before its too late. But it's a great rice.

while I have not tried it as of yet, i do believe when I do it will be excellent. The high nutritional value of Basmati rice makes it good your health, as well as diet plans. I like this Royal basmathi rice for several reason. Most of the time it's available in Walmart. The price is expensive but affordable. The rice has a nice aroma and the taste is delicious when mixed with the mutter paneer curry. After the rice is cooked betterto keep the lid always to sustain aroma. The cons are-- it's expensive. The grain is soft and breaks easily.Proper care should be taken while mixing with spoon The aroma is not that strong but still likable. As a whole it is a good option for rice lovers. I am glad that Walmart is able to provide Royal Basmathi as the name suggests, our favorite rice. l strongly recommend this product for those who would like to try and enjoy!

Very happy with this purchase! The rice smells wonderful while cooking and tastes authentic. I’ve tried other basmati brands before, but this one is by far the best for flavor and texture. The 20 lb bag is perfect for a family like mine. Cooks well every time, and the grains are perfect for biryani, pulao, or plain steamed rice.
