I like this Royal basmathi rice for several reason. Most of the time it's available in Walmart. The price is expensive but affordable. The rice has a nice aroma and the taste is delicious when mixed with the mutter paneer curry. After the rice is cooked betterto keep the lid always to sustain aroma. The cons are-- it's expensive. The grain is soft and breaks easily.Proper care should be taken while mixing with spoon The aroma is not that strong but still likable. As a whole it is a good option for rice lovers. I am glad that Walmart is able to provide Royal Basmathi as the name suggests, our favorite rice. l strongly recommend this product for those who would like to try and enjoy!

Rice quality is good and packing is also good as it is packed in a plastic bag that saves the aroma of the rice and the quality remains good. This is common breed of Pakistan and India. This one is from India but rice from Pakistan are far more superior in terms of taste, quality, size and aroma. A good copy of Paksitani rice, they are not best rice but at least are better amongst the available options. Bag size should be double so that we don't have to buy again and again. Desi stores are selling same product for more money so here it is a good option.

The quality of this basmati rice is disappointing. Both the grain size and overall quality fall short of expectations, especially considering the price. The most concerning issue is that the rice breaks apart after cooking—each grain loses its integrity, which is unusual for authentic basmati. It doesn’t resemble proper basmati rice in texture or appearance.

The bag is exactly as shown. It has a zipper. It's reusable. The rice looks good. It comes from India. I couldn't find rice in the stores so I got online and found this. It took a while but under the circumstances that's understandable. I got it before I ran out.

The Rice is exactly as expected. Once cooked, each grain of rice separates and grows extra long. Beautiful to see as you serve it on a plate and the aroma is fantastic. Just rinse it well before cooking, but it usually very clean of any particles other than Basmati Rice.👍😊

This is absolutely the best rice by far! It has the best fluffy texture. It’s easy to make. It goes perfect with ALL of the meat /vegetables dishes, and you can easy share this secret with your family! High quality product. It always tastes and cooks well. Hints (if your dietary needs allow): 1) add a pinch or two of salt before cooking, 2) use slightly less than 2X the amount of water to cook to get fluffy but not sticky rice, and 3) add a quarter to half a teaspoon of cooking oil to the rice and swirl to coat all the grains before cooking to make the rice less sticky and makes cleaning easier.

This is aged basmati rice. Best way is to soak it before if you are using 20 min-rice cooker 30 min-stove top in wide pan 12 min-pressure cooker on stove top Follow rice to the ratio of water. Basmati rice need soaking like all other healthy Grains and lentils. Soaking takes out starch. This is basically for pilafs. These are not sticky rice. If you want to make Asian style then no need to soak. Add little extra the amount of water in rice cooker. Always check the guidelines.
