[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how fluffy this came out plus it tasted good however as a Jasmine girl I was looking for more. I like my rice a little softer and whilst I tried to get it that way it just didn’t taste and look the same way for me especially on the next day. This rice is good for certain recipes but not as versatile as jasmine rice which I can even use for rice porridge and not have to worry about buying another bag of rice just for a recipe. It definitely cooks well and I like it but it’s not my favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try Royal Authentic Basmati Rice. This rice was very easy to prepare, n the stove top, with easy-to-follow package instructions and minimal ingredients. The taste and aroma were very appealing, and I added the recommended amount of butter for an extra taste sensation. The rice plumped up nicely and the texture was light and fluffy. The rice itself was very tasty and easily digestible; more so than other rice products I have tried, as the grains were smaller and thinner than most other rice varieties. I paired this rice with frozen egg rolls and the pairing was very satisfying and filling. I also liked the seal that comes with the package for resealing. It didn't stick quite as well, as I hoped, due to the slickness of the package itself, but once I put it into a zippered bag with the seal, the seal seemed to adhere better. I, along with my Mom, enjoyed this rice and I would definitely purchase it again, as well as recommend it to additional family members and friends. The only downside to this rice product, is the writing on the package; it is a bit too tiny for those of us with less than perfect vision. Otherwise, a great product! I admit I prefer quick microwavable rice but if you have the patience to cook stovetop, it is worth it. The taste was pleasantly and makes for a satisfying side dish for any meal.
