Basmati rice has a lower glycemic index than regular white rice so it is a better form of carbohydrate. While cooking, it fills the air with the delicate smell of popping corn. It goes well with just about anything white rice goes with. My favorite is Sesame chicken. I like to slightly undercook it and then freeze in single serving containers. That way you have cooked rice ready to reheat any time.

So normally I would purchase some type of minute rice to save time. I am very glad My family and I got a chance to try the Royal brand Basmati Rice. This is definitely worth the extra couple steps to prepare as directed on the package stovetop! There is no comparison, it is delicious, light, fluffy, and full of flavor! I also made the stovetop basmati rice again but tried in the instapot- again turned out amazing! I will purchase this again and will definitely recommend!
