I can`t use the bengay. When I put it on, my cat smells it and goes insane. She likes it more than catnip. I can`t imagine her licking the product is good for her. So for her health, I will not use the product. Otherwise it works great. Love the hot/cold feel.

long time user...used to use aspercrene but blood pressure became a preventative for that...no aspirin please...went to bengay....I am very satisfied...you just have to wash off previous application before putting fresh coat of product...long term deep relief for me...I use ultra strength

I was given a trial of BenGay and used it right away. I have back problems,knee problems shoulder problems and elbow problems. I applied a small amount on each of these areas and could feel warmth right awayl. While BenGay did not totally take away the pain, it made it more managable for me and I could do my household chores easier.

I received the Ultra Strength Bengay to try and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the product provided relief to my achy muscles and joints. As an avid walker and gym rat, I`m usually have minor aches and pains a few days a week due to my work out routine. While the extra strength Bengay has a small odor, its not unpleasant and for the relief the product provided to my sore muscles, I will endure the smell. I wound that by putting the tube in to the freezer a few minutes before using it, it did cut down on the smell and actually provided a cool, warming sensation while rubbing it on to your aches joints and muscles. I used the Bengay Ultra Strength as soon as I got home from work. The odor was not bad at all. The cream went on smoothly and immediately I felt it working. I was given this product by the Home Tester Club. I knew about the scent of BenGay from years ago as a high school athlete. I remember it working all right for tight muscled, but not that well overall. This product works amazingly. It rubs in completely and leaves no residue at all that I could tell. It isn`t greasy in my opinion, and it starts working only minutes after application... and when it DOES start working, it works FAST. The ONLY issue I can see at all, because the smell, though not unpleasant, can become overpowering, is to not use it when around others that can`t handle it. If you can be outside or in and area of good air circulation, you`ll have no problems at all, and you`ll be VERY pleased.

I received this at the perfect time right when I was moving. I have back pain all the time but moving made it worse way worse. My back and knees were so bad. I used the Bengay Ultra Strength and wow what a difference the pain was ay least manageable. The smell is strong but not terrible. This is a wonderful product.

The stuff DOES work. My forearms were very sore from pulling grape vines and thorns for two days, and I did quickly get pain relief after rubbing the cream on my arms and wrists. The smell, though, is overpowering and neither I nor my cat liked it. It`s not an especially unpleasant smell, but it is very strong and distinctive. It`s a shame - I do think this is an effective product.
