I remember as a child my grandfather would come home from work , shower then apply BenGay . As weird as it sounds I loved the smell of it , fast forward 55 yrs later , I use it now on my joints and sore muscles after the gym ,stuff works really well for me.

Used ben gay years ago. Moved to warmer climate. Hadn't felt the need for it till this past winter. Sent grandchild to store for me.( i rarely go anywhere after dark). She brought back the ultra strength and said that was the only type they carried. I rubbed a pea size on both knees expecting a tingle, none looked for an experation date ,stiil good . Grandchild said she'd return it the next day. After a bit 1st left knee then 2nd knee magically were pain free...

I got to try Bengay ultra strength from home testers club. I usually use Bengay for my joint pains. I have lower back pain quite often and it gets worse during winters after snow shoveling etc. I use Bengay and am always pleased with the result. The smell is not as bad as others and it starts working fast. I often apply Bengay ultra strength before going to sleep and in the morning I am as fresh as the morning itself.

Ironically I received this product after a long day on my feet. I applied it to my sore spots and went to bed, the odor was very strong and could still be smelled in my room the next day, had to wash sheets. I did definitely feel the cooling of the product working on my muscles and I did not wake up with a lot of aches and pains.

The stuff DOES work. My forearms were very sore from pulling grape vines and thorns for two days, and I did quickly get pain relief after rubbing the cream on my arms and wrists. The smell, though, is overpowering and neither I nor my cat liked it. It`s not an especially unpleasant smell, but it is very strong and distinctive. It`s a shame - I do think this is an effective product.

Ben Gay has always been my choice of pain killers! I am 84 and Ben Gay has kept me pain free for as long as I can remember! It never fails me! I just used it on an aching foot and it stopped the discomfort fast!! I decided it was time to assure you that there is no better product around! Thanks for keeping me able!!

The packaging is attractive as it lists all the concerns that someone has when they are in ache or pain. I can use this all over my body anytime of the day and in a couple of hours all my pain subsides or goes away. As you can see I use this regularly.

I’m on my feet most of the day so when I used ultra strength bengay for my pain.. I was so relieved, it does have a strong smell but I can truly tolerate the smell for the relief I’ve received. Thank you bengay. I highly recommend this product because it works wonders.

Works well for soothing occasional muscle soreness and fatigue. Good price compared to similar products, and without a loss in quality as a result. Plus it smells amazing! Really, I was most impressed by the strange combination of depth and subtlety of the scent. Maybe it was due to low expectations given the original product, but I would love to get some lotion that smelled like this. Only negative is that it absorbs super fast, so you may use too much in order to feel like your skin is coated. This will deplete the product rather quickly, and given the price, that can add up sooner than one might realize. My advice: use, at the most, 70% of what you think you'll need and see how it works first. This will take about 2-3 minutes to feel anything and a solid 10-20 minutes before the full effect can be felt. Don't reapply without waiting at least 15 minutes before the first application. Your nerves can develop a minor tolerance to the effects of this, as it is really a quite powerful medication.

Been a Bengay user for quite some time and I have noticed the consistency isn't what it could be. I would like to see it come in a hefty pot instead of a tube and I'd like to see it much, much, thicker. When I put it on a body part, I want it to stick to that body part and feel the effects for A WHILE. The current thinner version doesn't seem to last as long and doesn't feel like it quite does what I need it to. PLEASE consider this. I'm not getting any younger lol
