Just what I was looking for to protect my "toys" while charging. Plenty of outlets, including a USB port, to use as a surge protector and it charged quickly.

APC Specs say bsttery life is 2~3 years, very glad the one 575VA lasted 5 years. I've accepted the fact that APC UPS's are disposable like microwave ovens. Ugh

Plug and go. Enough juice to run multiple items. I even have a power strip to charge more items. The USB plug is a nice addition. The spaced plug for the power brick plugs is a must.

I thought I could do without UPS in my new location, but numerous power outages proved otherwise. A few years ago I tried a UPS other than APC, but that was not a good choice. I have been using APC UPS devices for over 20 years.

This might be good for a laptop during a power outage, but it lacks enough power to run any PC with a modern video card. Any 2019+ current Radeon or GeForce video card in combination with a home PC that draws 360 watts or more will overload this little backup battery and it will start beeping. You will be forced to use it as a surge-protector only.

The battery backup works as expected, but has a high-pitched whine while plugged in. It's unpleasant to be in the same room as this UPS, especially if there's no music or white noise playing. Other than that annoyance, it works well enough and keeps my network gear and monitors powered up during our frequent power blinks.

I bought this back in July 2021 and it died less than two months later. Immediately tried to receive assistance from APC but tired of the email tag games explaining what happened. Was told that APC units are specifically for computers only. Okay. Been using them at work as backup/surge protection on other things besides computers (and never had any problems. Just wasted money. Will check out other vendors. May even think about switching out the ones at work. Who knows how long they will last.

Would not stop beeping

Seems to work well. When I removed it from the box and opened the bottom panel. I fell out and bent the negative terminal. I did not realize this until tying to put it back in after connecting the positive wire. Finally realized it was bent and re bent it into flat position...

Zoom in on the top down picture on the site (3rd from top) and look at the ground plugs. You'll see on at least 3 of them they are partially blocked. The unit I purchased on one completely blocked and I'm unable to use a grounded plug in that outlet.
