I bought one APC UPS for my computer and peripherals. It worked well, so my most recent purchase was another of the same model for TV and cable box so that the cable box does not require the usual 10 minute re-boot after every power blip. As with the first one, this one does the job for which I purchased it.

Although out of stock at my local club, I purchased 2 of these 675VA Battery Back-UPS from Sam's online and had them delivered. They arrived in a few days, well package, in perfect condition. The quality of the unit appears to be excellent. They were shipped with a battery lead disconnected, but battery access through a removable hatch on the bottom of the unit was simple and required no tools. As other reviews have noted, there was an 'electrical circuit' odor when the packages were first opened, but it dissipated quickly and has not returned. The units operated perfectly during a recent power failure. I am very satisfied with this product and the price paid through Sam's Club.

Make sure your computer stays up in a blackout to shutdown properly this is a great product to achieve that goal. With the "Powerchute" software it make sure it is all running and ready to go. You need to install it from the APC website so don't forget to do that task. All in all, a great product at the best price at Sam's Club

Bought this to backup my FIOS box. It works as intended. Had a momentary power outage yeserday and my internet access never flickered. If you live in Florida and have Duke Energy as a power supplier this is a necessity. Buy one, actually buy several, you'll be glad you did! Right now I have 4 0f these running, backing up all my major electronic devices.

I bought it for our TV, Direct TV, and sound system. Here in Florida we get a lot of thunderstorms and every time the electric goes off for a second the system would re-boot. Now it just stays on. We love it.

Old APC unit went out. Needed a quick replacement. This one was well rated and at a good price. Slightly better unit (higher VAs) than the one we were replacing. Not much more cost than just replacing the battery on the old one.

This backup power supply is perfect for my needs. I have it backing up my fiber connection ,router and a few other small power, so far it has worked every time it was needed. The unit is priced better than everywhere else and delivers a little more power.

We were updating our network and to keep any interuptions from a power glitch, I installed one of these on each terminal, and on the modem, router/switch. I only wish it came with the 2 screws to mount them to the wall, as I mounted 4 out of the 6 that I installed. These were installed on cash register terminals, before, when there was a power glitch, it could take 5 minutes for the system to come back up, customers don't like waiting, so now no more waits.

You can expect Apc quality with this battery backup. I don't know if it can be purchased cheaper elsewhere or not. It seems like a pretty good deal for me. So I bought it here. Also you can get an extended warranty for it with Sam's Club which I like because some stores don't offer that. I will say that I wish the plugs were in the opposite direction. The reason I say that is because a lot of the items I use for streaming the plugs are shaped in a rectangle shape. I am currently charging this thing as I just got it. I do not know if it will accept all the plugs in the right direction the way the plugs are shaped. I still gave it five stars because I'll figure something out. If I'll just use it for plugging computers in and that will be it.

The unit I got, came with a dead defective battery, plugged it in and thought it will take some time to charge, but after several days, it held zero charge. Tried to call customer service, and after scheduling the call via the mfr system, no one called me back. Glad I got it from Samsclub so I was able to return it.
