After about two weeks it just keep beeping

Always love a power backup with surge protector.

I bought this about two weeks ago. Today I turned off the power to reset everything. Now it will not turn back on. I read all the instructions but nothing seems to help. I am returning this. If you buy it then get the three-year warranty

I have owned APC UPS Battery Backups for many years. This one is my favorite! I bought two, one for my desktop computer, and the other for my entertainment center, TV and AV receiver. I love the USB charging port, which charges my iPhone faster than the computer's USB ports.

In A/C Home with only a Dell Precision Laptop and IOSAFE backup drive and pencil sharpener hooked to BACKUPS unit. First nit from APC I have had to fail within Warranty , Have 3 other BACKYPS 675 Units in home & 3 APC NETWORK BACK UPS units. Now they say I must contact TECH Support to get replacement. UNIT IS DEAD but operating Temps in this home never exceeded 80 degrees. and unit in Open Cabinet with air circulation and overhead Hunter Fan. Stating to wonder about newer Quality controls. The Battery is custom and Note replacable per the APC website. I tried a genuine Battery from APC and it still would NOT reset ......July 2019 Manufactured -August 14,2021 Failure....

Failed after 14 months. Just seems it should have lasted longer. Likely it's just the battery but still 14 months ?? Live in FL and with constant outages of the 10 second or less variety this was a great investment as the Dish TV wouldn't go into a reset mode that lasted up to 5 minutes in the middle of a show. The house lights would go out but the TV kept going without interruption.

I have 2 units. When I first connected the batteries and then left plugged in overnight, they would never turn on. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting batteries, pressed reset, held the power button, etc., but they never came on. I was going to return them, but went ahead and tried a day later, and both turned on. Then I plugged one in and was using on my TV and cable modem. It worked fine for a day, and we had a few power flickers which it held up the equipment fine. Last night, we had a flicker apparently and the unit just made a continuous beep with no power indication and the TV went blank. I can turn it back on, and after a few blinks, it stays green, but if I unplug it, it just goes out and same continuous beep.

So far - so good

I am pretty sure I did not receive a brand new battery. There's a piece of paper taped to apc battery titled ‘quality assurance' dated prior to my purchase, with someone's signature on it. Something like that wouldn't be taped on to a brand new unopened never used before item.

I guess I should have looked into the details but I bought this for a tv with ps5 hooked up to it. I just wanted it so I would have enough time to shut things down the proper way if the power went out. While the power is on I plugged both things in, got to gaming and less than five minutes later it made a constant beeping/squeal that does not go off until you power one of the two electrons off.
