I bought two of these: One for two power recliners in case the power goes out and legs are in the up position and One for my Comcast DVR and an LCD TV. The power has been going out recently and these UPS backups kept the TV and DVR on without a glitch. APC is a company I have relied on for many years with my computer equipment and it has never failed.

I use these on my laptops, desktops, network router, TVs, garage door openers, Fios power supply, etc. My next door neighbor lost his desk top PC, TVs, and garage door opener from a lightening strike. I did not lose anything with multiple APC units installed.
