The leakguard protection within the string is a great feature. The super absorbency is just right for moderately heavy periods.

I much prefer it to cardboard. I usually have a heavier flow and the super make it easy and comfortable to last hours!

For years now, I've tried all kinds of products, and finally, in 2021, Tampax created Pearl Ultra tampons, which are free of dyes, fragrances, chlorine bleaching, and use COMFORTABLE 100% COTTON with a natural braided leak guard to help keep you dry and smelling fresh! The applicator is relatively easy to use and insert; but, on 3 occasions the string on the end of the insert has broken off upon insertion, or the applicator sticks or doesn't dispense the cotton insert. If these issues are fixed, Tampax Pearl Ultra tampons will be phenomenal!

They are overall pretty comfortable and I like the level of protection they offered for my heavier-flow days. I did not experience any leaks. Of course if it's your "lighter days" I would not recommend these. They will feel really uncomfortable and will hurt when removing them. Definitely stick with these only for your heavier days. Overall would recommend.

Absolutely love this product! Tried them out when OB had discontinued their ultra and was extremely pleased with the protection! When OB came back on shelves their protection didn't seem the same as it was before. I decided to stick with these - for me they are the best ultra absorbency in the industry! I would love to have this absorbency level available throughout the Caribbean so please consider exporting it!!!
