The comfort of the plastic applicator is so much easier. Having the right tampon and her knowing she is protected no matter how light or heavy her periods are is very important.

I have been diagnosed with menorrhagia ( heavy bleeding ) I have to take iron supplements and work around my period. On days I can't hide at home I only use Tampax pearl this variety of super absorbent tampons is definitely a must have for me. I have less leaks the string really does help. Tampax Pearl has a nice plastic applicator glides smoothly honestly it's a game changer when you can only go 15 minutes in between changing out tampons, yes some days it is 15 minutes no matter how Super your super tampon is. I like the packaging easy open and place the used applicator in or tampon if you don't flush them. If your period makes your life difficult make it a little easier with a good tampon.

My cycle varies in absorbency wildly throughout and so I’m constantly needing different sized protection. These have a smooth applicator that glides well. They stay put and keep everything contained.
