[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils are pre-sharpened, they look like a standard pencil. They write nicely, and it gives off a nice black color. They are fairly comfortable to hold in hand, and seem to last a long time after many times of being sharpened. The only downside is the strange smell they had, it was a really weird smell.

She absolutely loved that they were pre-sharpened! She said that they write very smooth and the eraser didn't leave streaks like some of her other pencils. She is really enjoying these pencils and I think they are her favorite so far! I can also vouch for the smoothness of these pencils. I wanted to test them out myself as well, and I honestly enjoyed the way they wrote and enjoyed the eraser on them as well. All in all, happy with this little pack of pencils!

I have always thought all pencils were the same. After purchasing these I have learned they are not. They sharpen really well. A lot of pencils get widdled down to nothing because you have to sharpen them for so long to achieve a good point. Not these. Just a few turns and they are sharp and pointy. I also like that the erasers don't smudge lead all over the paper. These erase nicely. I highly recommend them. They may be a little higher than some pencils but I think it's money well spent in the long run.

Smooth writing experience, comfortable to hold, great eraser- no smudges, sharpens to a beautiful point. Lead does not break easily and is not fractured inside the wood causing pieces to break off.I've been using these for 40 years. Even the kids notice the difference if they get an off brand pencil and ask for Ticonderogas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddos are homeschooled so I could see them using these pencils first hand for awhile and they are truly great writing utensils! The lead doesn't break early and it erases nicely. The only thing I dislike about these pencils are the lead is extremely strong smelling. It gets to the point that my kiddos couldn't use the pencils for a long period of time. Because of the strong smell, I have to give it a 4 star.

When you do need to sharpen them, they are east to sharpen and the tip does not break. They write smooth and consistent in color. The eraser erasers cleanly with no smudging. Will purchase this pencil again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are worth every penny that you pay for them! They are so easy to sharpen and you don't experience the "shortening" of the pencil as you sharpen it, as you do with so many others. One sharpen and the pencil is gone, but not with these! You don't have to press hard, they naturally write "dark" without pressing hard. The erasers that are on the tops are one of the best, and don't leave streaks or a residue after using. I've used these with my kids since they started writing with the big fat starter pencils and they still prefer these, as they have gotten older, over mechanicals. Highly recommend and will continue purchasing for all of our writing needs!

Sharpens perfectly, writes perfectly and last longer than I expect, I wish I knew before would have changed long time ago. My son is prek is using these and it is great.
