Best bang for your buck

This is a great deal in comparison to anything out there they came nicely packaged, and I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best thing for your buck.

Good Pencils - Like Those Made In The Mid 1900s

I've seen and used a lot of pencils in my 70 years. These are among the best I've used in the past. They have a nice octagonal barrel that is not overly fat or too thin. That makes them very good for use in the hand while writing. The HB #2 lead is thick enough and just what is needed for good visibility and reading. I also use them for marking wood before making cuts. The erasers also work as I expect they should on a pencil - not too hard or too soft.

Great discount on quality pencils

I understand the Ticonderoga pencils are highly rated by teachers, so when these came available at a significantly lower price point I scooped up many for my Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes and pencil pack fillers for the Samaritan’s Purse OCC endeavor. I shared the sale to a Shoebox Shoppers page as these pencils are a much needed and sought after item at such a low price. Thanks for the great sale price Walmart!

Quality pencils and the only kind I can recommend. I use to wonder why teachers would ask for Ticonderoga by name. Now I know all other pencils are difficult to sharpen and break often interrupting learning. Ticonderoga are worth the extra money to have a quality, stress-free writing instrument.

Best Pencils- Teacher Recommended

The best pencils! There's a reason teachers specifically ask for this brand. Sam's always has a great deal on them too. So take advantage and buy extra to donate for your child's classroom. One tip is that these are not pre sharpened. But Sam's also sells a great electric sharpener to do it yourself if need be.

5 Star Pencils

As a teacher, Ticonderoga is the only brand of pencils I will buy. These sharpen so well, they always come to a sharp point. The eraser lasts much longer and actually does its job instead of just shredding the paper or falling apart. These pencils are strong and likely will not break even with a heavy hand. I would recommend these over any other pencils.

Excellent for kids

Nothing better than these pencils. They don't wear down near as fast as most pencils. And the lead doesn't seem to break off near as easily as others seem to. Which makes them less expensive in the long run. I also buy these to donate to the school each year and teachers REALLY appreciate these!!

Ticonderoga POOP Pencils

These pencils are "POOP-WORTHLESS---DO NOT BUY"! Sharpen them, the lead breaks off or isn't there. I was able to use three pencils one time, the rest of the pencil sharpened away with no lead available. Last Ticonderoga pencils I buy from WalMart. Guess my friends in the office were correct, you get what you pay for!!!!! VERY, VERY DISSATISIFIED WITH THIS ORDER!!!!

Not genuine. Super soft, breakable lead.

These are not pre-sharpened, as advertised. The biggest drawback is the flimsiness / softness of the lead. The tips break very easily, making it so you have to constantly sharpen the pencils. It also means they wear down much quicker than most other pencils. I remember this brand from way back and they used to be high-quality so we didn't mind paying for pencils that last. These pencils are not worth the money. It almost seems like they're not genuine. = (
