I've been using this litter for almost 4 months. I LOVE how much lighter it is and if my review were based solely on that, then I would have given it 5 stars. However, the amount of dust is just too much! Not only is there a LOT of dust, it sticks to everything - the cats, me, floor...etc. I sneeze and cough, and then need to change my shirt whenever I clean the cat box - I clean it 1-2 times a day. I can no longer justify purchasing this product, nor recommend it to family and friends.

Love the new LightWeight. I have four cats, and must buy large amounts of litter. Heavy loads are a thing of the past. The odor control seems a little better with this product too. Now, if Tidy could just find a way to make this litter more affordable.

I bought Tidy Cats Lite thinking it would be good. I was very disappointed! It NOT only did not absorb as advertised it was amazingly dusty! It left my cat's urine in a semi-paste form --- sticky as heck! Your other products on the other hand are good and continue to use them. Douglas D. Solosky

Positives: Love the way this litter stays clean after several weeks of use -- still looks and smells fresh like it just came from the box. The lightweight formula is great on my back, BUT.... Negatives: Tracks so much and is so dusty I don't think I'm going to be able to use it. I really hate this because the cleanliness and ease of scooping is awesome. I was also hoping after the expense of converting all my litter boxes to this litter, the longeivity of use would make it more cost effective.....hasn't happened yet. After I use what I've purchased, I will probably return to my long time Tidy Cat Multiple Cat Immediate Odor Control formula.

My cat is very picky about her litter, for the past 10 years we've been looking for one that is both the texture that she likes, and actually works. Cleaning litter boxes used to take almost 15 minute in my house, now it's maybe 2 minutes. Wish I didn't have to spend so much on it, but that's how I feel about cat litter in general.

I love that it is lightweight, but the smell is absolutely awful. I clean the box several times a day and it still stinks. Her box is in the laundry room and you can smell it through out the entire house. Keep working on it and I may try it again in the future.

I bought this litter about a month ago and it is the worst little I have ever used.  The litter is so light that it stays on the cat when he comes out of the cat and is now all over the house.  I have to vacuum in front of the litter box everyday something I have never had to do before.  I have litter on my tables, in my kitchen and in my bathroom.  Basically throughout my entire house.  With a newborn this is a major concern of mine.  There is also a major odor problem with this litter.  My cat is an antisocial biter and scratcher who would be put down by any other owner who would not understand he has an anxiety disorder that causes this behavior.  He does use his litter box religiously so I know he is not marking the house but when we walk in at the end of the day it smells as if he has gone in every room in the house.    I will never use this litter again and will be switching back to my old litter today.  

I love tidy cat glade,  but that big bucket which I also love is so heavy.  This jug is light.  I wondered how well it would work,  but it definitely holds up to the tidy cat name.  I use it in my littermaid and I honestly think it makes the machine works less because the litter doesn't weigh as much making it easier for the  rake to glide through  the litter.  I happen to like the smell, and I typically look for the scented ones. Now they just need to make it available in the nice big bucket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of Tidy Cats cat litter but what I really hate is lugging huge bags of cat litter home. With the 24/7 Performance Lightweight Litter I no longer have to get my husband to carry big heavy bags and I can lift the container of litter no problem. I love it.

I only buy tidy cats because we love how tight it clumps but I hate this stuff. The only thing good about this product is that it is light. It doesn't clump at all. I will be going back to the heavier type. I hope that this product can be made better and still be light.
